Reaction of the oxo-molybdenum(V) compound, [MoTp*(O)Cl2], [Tp* = hydrotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)borate] with p-methoxy and p-nitroaniline in the presence of Et3N under N2, afforded the oxo-bridged oxo(arylimido) molybdenum(V) complexes, [MoTp*(O)Cl](μ- O)[MoTp*(Cl)(≡NC6H4R)] (1, R = OMe; 2, R = NO2). The new compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, i.r., mass, and 1H-n.m.r. spectra. The single crystal X-ray crystallographic determination of [MoTp*(O)Cl](μ-O)[MoTp*(Cl) (≡NC6H4OMe)] was carried out to confirm that there is a Mo - O - Mo bridge and a near linear arylimido group in the structure.TÜBİTA

Characterization of a novel dioxomolybdenum complex by cyclic voltammetry

Metalloenzymes that carry a pterin-based molybdenum cofactor in their center catalyze numerous reactions in the human body and play a crucial role in its metabolism. Specifically, these enzymes promote redox reactions and oxygen transport in the body. Their absence may cause many problems leading to disability or even death in early childhood. Therefore, model compounds need to be synthesized and analyzed to investigate the reactivity, redox potential, and geometry of these cofactors. This study focused on electrode processes and determined the redox potentials of the new bis-(4-mercapto-5-(p-tolyl)-3H-1,2-dithiole-3-thione)-dioxomolybdenum complex by cyclic voltammetry. The 4-mercapto-5-(p-tolyl)-3H-1,2-dithiole-3-thione ligand underwent irreversible oxidation and reduction at thiol and thione functional groups. The new dioxomolybdenum complex showed a quasi-reversible two-stage electrode process

Purpose: After the emergence of the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus, vaccination with various vaccines has started to be implemented across the world. To identify dermatological reactions developing after the COVID-19 vaccines administered in Turkey and determine their clinical features and risk factors that may play a role in their development. Materials and Methods: The study included patients aged ≥18 years, who presented to 13 different dermatology clinics in Turkey between July 2021 and September 2021 after developing dermatological reactions following the administration of the COVID-19 vaccine. After providing written consent, the patients were asked to complete a standard survey including questions related to age, gender, occupation, comorbidities, the regular medication used, the onset of cutaneous reactions after vaccination, and localization of reactions. Dermatological reactions were categorized according to whether they developed after the first or second dose of the vaccine or whether they occurred after the inactivated or messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine. The relationship between dermatological reactions and some variables such as gender and comorbidities was also evaluated. Results: A total of 269 patients [116 women (43.1%), 153 men (56.9%)] were included in the study. It was observed that the dermatological diseases and reactions that most frequently developed after vaccination were urticaria (25.7%), herpes zoster (24.9%), maculopapular eruption (12.3%), and pityriasis rosea (4.5%). The rate of dermatological reactions was 60.6% after the administration of the mRNA vaccine and 39.4% after that of the inactivated vaccine. There was a statistically significantly higher number of reactions among the patients that received the mRNA vaccine (p = 0.001). Conclusion: The most common reactions in our sample were urticaria, herpes zoster, and maculopapular eruption. Physicians should know the dermatological side effects of COVID-19 vaccines and their clinical features

The amido and bisalkoxo-complexes of [Tri(3,5-Dimethylpyrazolyl)Borato]molydenum nitrosyl

In this study, the amido nitrosyl molybdenum complex, [Mo{HM(3,5-Me2C3HN2)3}(NO)Cl(NH 2)], was prepared. This compound reacts with alocohols, yielding the bisalkoxo complexes, [Mo{HM(3,5-Me2C3HN2)3}(NO)(OR) 2] (R = Me, Et, Prn, Bun). The new complexes were analyzed by IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy

In this work, the reaction of the 16-electron species [Rh(η3-C8H13)-(η5-C 2B9H9Me2)] with PPh3 was investigated and the product, [exo-nido-Rh-(PPh3)2(η5-C2B 9H10Me2)], which is in an equilibrium with the closo analogue was characterized by 31p{1H}, 1H, 13C and 11B NMR spectroscopy. A mechanism for the complex formation is suggested which is related to the previously reported reactions between the 16-electron complex and PR3 (R = Me and Et) ligands

The chloro-amido complex [Mo{HB(3,5-Me2C3HN2)3}(NO)Cl(NH 2)] was prepared by treating [Mo{HB(3,5-Me2C3HN2)3}(NO)Cl 2] with an excess of ammonia. The monoalkylamido complexes [Mo{HB(3,5-Me2C3HN2)3}-(NO)(NH 2)(NHR)] (R = Me, Et, Pr-n and Bu-n) were obtained by the reaction of [Mo{HB(3,5-Me2C3HN2)3}(NO)Cl(NH 2)] with the appropriate primary amines. The IR and 1H NMR spectra of the new complexes were investigated

The "metallo-ligands" can be considered effectively as a modified triphenylphosphine ligand, and used to generate novel transtion metal complexes in which electron-transfer and magnetism is embedded within the stable ligand framework. A new mono-molybdenated metallo-ligand was synthesized and characterized by NMR (1H and 31P-{1H}), IR and mass spectroscopy techniques as a starting material in the search for designing novel bimetallic complexes exhibiting optoelectronic properties and development of non-linear optical materials that possess commercial device applications

The main purpose of this study is to determinate the relationship between organizational justice and organizational commitment in accommodation enterprises. It was also aimed to determinate that relationship in term of distributive justice, process justice and interaction justice. In this scope a case study was carried out on 426 employee who work in holiday village and 4-5 stars hotel in Muğla province. The questionnaire forms were used to collect data from sample group. According to the analyzing of collected data, a significant relationship was found between general organizational justice, distributive justice, process justice, interaction justice and organizational commitment at the 0,05 significant level. The level of the relationship for general organizational justice and organizational commitment was 62,4%. The level of the relationship between distributive justice and commitment was 51%, between process justice and commitment was 45%, between interaction justice and commitment was 62%. Also the differentiation of those relationships in term of gender, education level and the type of enterprises were searched
