A note on the cone of mobile curves

    Get PDF
    S. Boucksom, J.-P. Demailly, M. Paun and Th. Peternell proved that the cone of mobile curves ME(X) of a projective complex manifold X is dual to the cone generated by classes of effective divisors and conjectured an extension of this duality in the Kaehler set-up. We show that their conjecture implies that ME(X) coincides with the cone of integer classes represented by closed positive smooth (n-1,n-1)-forms. Without assuming the validity of the conjecture we prove that this equality of cones still holds at the level of degree functions

    EUROPEAN MONETARY UNION AND ROMANIA

Romania face the question of whether and in what time frame the economy will be capable of fulfilling the conditions for entering into the euro area. In general, those conditions can be understood as attaining such parameters in various fields of economic life that will ensure successful operation of the economy in the environment of the single monetary policy of the European Central Bank. This article analyzes the main issues of the euro adoption in Romania. In the medium term, an important challenge for Romania is to achieve real and nominal convergence. Within this framework, the Eurosystem emphasizes the need to perform real convergence in parallel with and not on the behalf of nominal convergence. The question of optimal timing of euro adoption has to be addressed.euro adoption, convergence, Romania

    Consensus Moderation System

    Get PDF
The present paper formulates a consensus moderation system based on the negotiation of the actors involved. There are a series of steps in the moderation process, the first of which is constructing a front of Pareto optimal solutions. Since this in itself will likely not lead to consensus in a real life scenario, Kaldor-Hicks compromises are then detected. Compromises are recommended at every iteration of the negotiation process which can lead to a lengthy negotiation time, which is addressed by using a recommendation engine based on the previous behavior of the actor.Pareto Optimality, Kaldor-Hicks Compromises, Consensus Model, Consensus Moderation
