    Mining Comparison Opinions from Chinese Online Reviews for Restaurant Competitive Analysis

    Comparison is widely used by consumers during the process of product evaluation in order to emphasize their preference, which can contribute to a proxy for product competitiveness analysis. This paper proposes a novel method for mining comparative sentences based on the achievements of linguistic study. The definition of comparative sentence subcategory is put forward and a mixed rule pool containing both artificial rules and CSR is set up. Besides, an entity dictionary is used to re-check the identification result which can ensure precise identification and classification of comparative sentences. Real online comments are collected from Dianping.com as experimental data. The result shows that the proposed method outperforms baseline methods in terms of identification precision. Based on the result, features and opinions of comparative sentences are mined. We then conducted sentiment analysis to calculate the sentimental score of comparison relations. Finally, a feature competitive network of restaurants is constructed

    Signals of New Gauge Bosons in Gauged Two Higgs Doublet Model

    Recently a gauged two Higgs doublet model, in which the two Higgs doublets are embedded into the fundamental representation of an extra local SU(2)HSU(2)_H group, is constructed. Both the new gauge bosons Z′Z^\prime and W′(p,m)W^{\prime (p,m)} are electrically neutral. While Z′Z^\prime can be singly produced at colliders, W′(p,m)W^{\prime (p,m)}, which is heavier, must be pair produced. We explore the constraints of Z′Z^\prime using the current Drell-Yan type data from the Large Hadron Collider. Anticipating optimistically that Z′Z^\prime can be discovered via the clean Drell-Yan type signals at high luminosity upgrade of the collider, we explore the detectability of extra heavy fermions in the model via the two leptons/jets plus missing transverse energy signals from the exotic decay modes of Z′Z^\prime. For the W′(p,m)W^{\prime (p,m)} pair production in a future 100 TeV proton-proton collider, we demonstrate certain kinematical distributions for the two/four leptons plus missing energy signals have distinguishable features from the Standard Model background. In addition, comparisons of these kinematical distributions between the gauged two Higgs doublet model and the littlest Higgs model with T-parity, the latter of which can give rise to the same signals with competitive if not larger cross sections, are also presented.Comment: 39 pages, 23 figures, 7 tables and two new appendixes, to appear in EPJ

    Effects of Ox-LDL on Macrophages NAD(P)H Autofluorescence Changes by Two-photon Microscopy

    Ox-LDL uptakes by macrophage play a critical role in the happening of atherosclerosis. Because of its low damage on observed cells and better signal-to- background ratio, two-photon excitation fluorescence microscopy is used to observe NAD(P)H autofluorescence of macrophage under difference cultured conditions- bare cover glass, coated with fibronectin or poly-D-lysine. The results show that the optimal condition is fibronectin coated surface, on which, macrophages profile can be clearly identified on NAD(P)H autofluorescence images collected by two-photon microscopy. Moreover, different morphology and intensities of autofluorescence under different conditions were observed as well.     Stimulatory Effect of 5-Hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) on Rat Capsaicin-Sensitive Lung Vagal Sensory Neurons via Activation of 5-HT\u3csub\u3e3\u3c/sub\u3e Receptors

    5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) is an inflammatory mediator known to be released in lung. Capsaicin-sensitive lung vagal (CSLV) afferents function as a primary sensor for detecting chemical stimuli and produce consequent reflexes during lung inflammation. To characterize the effect of 5-HT on CSLV afferents, responses of cardiorespiratory reflexes and single-unit C-fiber afferents to right-atrial injections of 5-HT were investigated in anesthetized Sprague-Dawley rats. Bolus injection of 5-HT (8 μg/kg) caused an immediate augmented breath and apnea, accompanied by hypotension and bradycardia. These initial responses were then followed by a brief pressor response and a more sustained depressor response. After a perineural treatment of both cervical vagi with capsaicin to block the conduction of C fibers, 5-HT still triggered the augmented breath, but no longer evoked the apnea, bradycardia and hypotension, indicating an involvement of C-fiber activation. The remaining augmented breath induced by 5-HT after perineural capsaicin treatment was totally eliminated by vagotomy. To further study the effect of 5-HT on CSLV afferents, activities arising from these afferents were determined using the single-fiber recording technique. Right-atrial injection of 5-HT evoked an intense discharge in CSLV afferents in a dose-dependent manner. The highest dose of 5-HT (16 μg/kg) activated 79% (19/24) of CSLV afferents which were also sensitive to capsaicin (0.8 μg/kg). The pretreatment of tropisetron, a selective antagonist of the 5-HT3 receptor, completely blocked CSLV-afferents stimulation induced by 5-HT but did not affect that by capsaicin. Furthermore, a similar afferent response of CSLV afferents was mimicked by phenylbiguanide, a selective agonist of the 5-HT3 receptor. In isolated rat lung vagal C neurons, 5-HT induced intense calcium transients in a dose-dependent manner. The highest concentration (3 μM) of 5-HT activated 67% (18/27) of the CSLV neurons. The 5-HT-induced response was totally abolished by pretreatment of tropisetron. In conclusion, 5-HT exerts an intense stimulatory effect on lung C-fiber terminals mediated through an activation of the 5-HT3 receptor, which may contribute to the airway hypersensitivity under lung inflammation

    Strain rate dependent mechanical properties in single crystal nickel nanowires

    We measure the strain rate dependence of 0.2% offset yield stress in single-crystal nickel nanowires with diameters ranging from 80 to 300 nm. In situ tensile experiments with strain rates from 10 4 s 1 to 10 2 s 1 were conducted, and the small activation volume ( 10b3, where b is the Burgers vector length) and high strain-rate sensitivity ( 0.1) were obtained. These results agreed with atomistic simulations. Our work provides insights into the strength-limiting and rate-controlling mechanism of plasticity at the nanoscale
