Hubungan antara Efikasi Diri Berwirausaha dengan Perilaku Inovatif Pada Anggota Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Inodnesia (HIPMI) Perguruan Tinggi Semarang
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri berwirausaha dengan perilaku inovatif pada anggota HIPMI Perguruan Tinggi Semarang. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 133 mahasiswa dengan karakteristik mahasiswa yang memiliki usaha. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling.Sampel penelitian berjumlah 80 mahasiswa.Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala efikasi diri (22 aitem, α = .85) dan skala perilaku inovatif (33aitem, α = .91). Analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara efikasi diri berwirausaha dengan perilaku inovatif (rxy = .58; p = .001). Efikasi diri berwirausaha memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 33.3% terhadap perilaku inovatif.

CRISPR-Cas Technology for Plant Breeding
Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats, or CRISPR, is a relatively new gene-editing technology that has the possibility of making a large impact to plant breeding. This paper will introduce how the CRIPSR system works, and will give a few examples of how the technology is currently being used in plant breeding. It will also look at the current regulatory systems and how that might affect the use of CRISPR technology in our food system. Finally, this paper will look at consumer acceptance of GMOs; how GMOs have been perceived in the past, and what learnings we can take as we advance CRISPR into new plant biotechnologies
Parental Exclusion from the Education Governance Kaleidoscope: Providing a Political Voice for Marginalized Students in Our Time of Disruption
This Article develops how the judiciary should play an instrumental part in
amplifying the parent's voice as a citizenship broker for their child. The Supreme
Court scrutinizes school-board actions with little consideration of parents' substantive due process right to control their child's education through the political process. Through representative school boards, effective participation models, and an enforcement framework, parents could hold the power to affect education policies. Parents deserve full citizenship recognition in the tiered processes controlling public education policy. In addition to recognizing "quality" education as a government interest, the Supreme Court should also take into account the political processes underlying the adoption of education reforms. We should earnestly grapple with the intersection between our equal protection doctrine's deference to local control and the fundamental yet limited right for parents to control their child's education
PELAKSANAAN LAYANAN KHUSUS BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING DI SMK KRIAN 2 SIDOARJO
Abstrak
Manajemen layanan khusus sekolah berperan aktif dalam penunjang pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar dan pembelajaran peserta didik baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Pada dasarnya manajemen layanan khusus ditetapkan dan di organisasikan untuk mempermudah atau memperlancar pembelajaran, serta dapat memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik selama berada didalam maupun di luar sekolah. Layanan khusus bimbingan dan konseling merupakan salah satu kelanjutan dari layanan kepenasehatan akademik dan administratif peserta didik. Pelayanan bantuan untuk peserta didik baik individu dan kelompok agar mandiri dan berkembang secara optimal dalam hubungan pribadi, sosial, belajar, karir; melalui berbagai jenis layanan dan kegiatan pendukung atas dasar norma-norma yang berlaku.Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan studi kasus. Teknik yang dilakukan dalam pengumpulan data adalah dengan cara wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan studi dokumentasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara kepada Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bagian Kesiswaan, Guru bimbingan dan konseling dan Siswa di SMK Krian 2 Sidoarjo. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian di lapangan mengenai Pelaksanaan Layanan Khusus Bimbingan dan Konseling di SMK Krian 2 Sidoarjo dapat dijelaskan sebagai berikut (1) Pelaksanaan layanan khusus Bimbingan dan Konseling di SMK Krian 2 menggunakan layanan yang spesifik adalah layanan konseling individu dan layanan bimbingan kelompok, (2) Faktor penghambat pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan dan konseling adalah minimnya personel guru bimbingan dan konseling, sarana dan prasarana, dan sosialisasi mengenai bimbingan dan kosenling. sedangkan untuk faktor pendukung terdapat aplikasi instrumentasi, kunjungan rumah, himpunan data, konferensi kasus, dan alih tangan kasus , (3) Upaya pelaksanaan layanan khusus bimbingan dan konseling di SMK Krian 2 Sidoarjo meliputi pengadaan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, pengadaan tenaga pendidik bimbngan dan konseling, dan melakukan secara rutin sosialisasi mengenai bimbingan dan konseling.

Abstract
Management special service school actively associated activities learning and instruction learners either directly or indirectly. Basically management service specifically established and in an organization right to ease or facilitate learning , and can meet the needs of students for inside and outside school. Special service guidance and counseling is one of a continuation of service academic and administrative advisory students. Service to help students group of an individual good to be independent and optimized in personal relationships , social , learning , a career, through different types of services and program support for a basic prevailing. The research is descriptive design qualitative the research uses a case study.Technique done in data collection is by way of interviews, observation participants, and study documentation.The data collection was done by interviewing to vice principal part student , teachers guidance and counseling and students in SMK krian 2 sidoarjo. While data analysis technique that uses the reduction of the data , presentation of data , as well as data verification .The results of research in the field on the implementation of special service guidance and counseling in SMK Krian 2 Sidoarjo can be explained as follows, (1) The implementation of the special service guidance and counseling in smk krian 2 use the services specific is service counseling individual and services guidance group,(2) The barrier the service guidance and counseling is limited personnel teachers guidance and counseling, infrastructure, and socialization regarding guidance and kosenling. As for supporting factors are application instrumentation, home visit, data set, conference case, and instead of the case , (3) Efforts to the special service guidance and counseling in SMK Krian 2 Sidoarjo provision of covering must be provided, procuring educators guidance and counseling, and routinely socialization regarding guidance and counseling.

Accelerated Reader: The Relation To Age Of Entry Into Formal Education
The current study examined the relationship between ages of entry into formal education and the effects it had on participation in the Accelerated Reader program. More specifically, the variables being compared were: the child’s age in months, gender, average number of AR points accumulated, the number of quizzes passed, and finally the number of quizzes taken. It was hypothesized that those children who are younger than their peers are going to earn fewer points than their older peers. Additionally, a gender difference was also hypothesized, predicting that female students would earn more points than their male classmates. Data was gathered from the 2009-2010 school year from two small elementary schools in mid-west Kansas, each enrolling students kindergarten through fifth grades. Results of the independent samples t-test revealed significant differences between the two schools at the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades on total points earned (M School 1=45.86, M School 2 = 63.92), quizzes passed (M School 1=30.79, M School 2=70.61), and quizzes taken (M School 1=34.11, M School 2=77.00 ). To further investigate these findings, results were sorted by grade level and another independent samples t-test was performed. In 2nd grade, the total number of points accumulated (M School 1=42.27, M School 2 = 52.13), quizzes passed (M School 1=59.08, M School 2 =103.51) and quizzes taken (M School 1=66.24, M School 2 =110.21) were significantly different, while in 3rd and 4th grades the only significant findings were the quizzes passed ( 3rd Grade: M School 1=24.80, M School 2=70.35, 4th Grade: M School 1=8.62, M School 2 = 36.63) and quizzes taken (3rd Grade: M School 1=26.86, M School 2=79.30, 4th Grade: M School 1=9.31, M School 2 =40.55). Additionally, a Pearson’s Correlation revealed a positive, linear relationship between age in months in 4th grade, quizzes passed, and quizzes taken. Juvenile Justice's Second Chance: Untangling the Retroactive Application of Miller v. Alabama under the Teague Doctrine
Over the last decade, the Supreme Court pieced together a clear
doctrine related to sentencing juvenile offenders transferred to adult criminal
courts: convicted persons eighteen years of age or younger may not receive
the death penalty, may not receive life without parole for nonhomicide
offenses, and may not be sentenced under mandatory life without
parole statutes. The prohibition against mandatory life without parole sentences
came about through Miller v. Alabama, the most recent Supreme
Court holding on juvenile sentencing practices, which requires an individualized
hearing to consider mitigating factors.
Whereas the Court's conclusions interpreting the Eighth Amendment's
Cruel and Unusual Punishment clause seem straightforward, whether
to retroactively apply Miller v. Alabama has proven challenging. State
supreme courts and legislatures accept the ruling's prospective impact, but
waver on its effect for inmates seeking habeas relief. Two years after the
Court's opinion, the tally includes state courts choosing to resentence those
unconstitutionally punished to life without parole as juveniles and state
courts choosing to not reopen these cases

Larry Backer opines that 'Most of the academic work regarding the "lessons" offered by American federalism for the European Union ("EU") and other supra-national systems has predominantly focused on an understanding of post-Civil War American federalism. It remains, on that account, extremely superficial.' Backer notes that there are important lessons to learn from Calhoun's marginalized understanding of federalism that provide emerging supra-national unions like the European Union with a powerful conceptual foundation for the construction of non-national federal systems of government. The research question seeks to test this debate, first by following the theoretical arguments that took place within the United States on the issue surrounding states' rights versus federalism, and second through the various court cases that have occurred within the European national courts and the European Court of Justice. In essence, the research question seeks to determine where the locus of power currently resides, or will tend to reside, between to the European Union and its member nations
By any Means Necessary: How Black Women Academic Deans Sustain in White Spaces
This research study explored the strategies six Black women academic deans used to sustain themselves at historically white institutions (HWIs). The theoretical framework used to understand the women’s experiences included Critical Race Feminism (CRF) and Crenshaw’s intersectionality (1989). The purpose of this study was to understand these experiences to advance the conceptual understanding of sustaining in white spaces. This is a qualitative study that used narrative inquiry and provided a space for Black women academic deans to share their experiences. Four themes emerged from the interviews of the academic deans: (a) barriers, (b) unreasonable expectations, (c) self-origination, and (d) support systems. From these themes, strategies of sustaining were developed. Black women’s support systems self-care, work-life balance, and the values developed during their upbringing were all used as ways they sustained. These strategies helped Black women academic deans survive in the academy while also combatting oppression. Black women’s ability to sustain in spaces not created for them to succeed is inspiring. This study contributes to the literature concerning Black women academic deans and how they navigate the academy and succeed in their roles at HWIs.KEYWORDS: critical race feminism, intersectionality, sustain, Black women academic dea
INOVASI PRODUK PEMBUATAN MIE BASAH DENGAN PENAMBAHAN TEPUNG KACANG HIJAU TERHADAP DAYA TERIMA KONSUMEN
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keanekaragaman inovasi kuliner khususnya mie ,untuk mengetahui formulasi mie basah dengan penambahan tepung kacang hijau (MTKH) ,uji daya terima konsumen, dan harga pokok produksi mie basah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental. Tahap yang dilakukan adalah membuat standar resep perbandingan yang antara tepung terigu dengan tepung kacang hijau yaitu MTKH1 50%:50% dan MTKH2 70%:30%. Pengujian pertama yang dilakukan adalah uji organoleptik kepada panelis ahli sebanyak 15 orang dimana dari pengujian tersebut didapat bahwa sampel MTKH2 merupakan sampel terbaik dengan nilai rata-rata 4,04 sedangkan sampel MTKH1 mendapat nilai 3,36. Setelah mendapat sampel terbaik maka langkah selanjutnya melakukan uji daya terima konsumen. Uji daya terima konsumen ini melibatkan panelis sebanyak 100 orang, dengan menghasilkan skor 2078 maka mie basah tepung kacang hijau diterima oleh konsumen yang diwakili oleh 100 orang responden. Harga pokok produksi untuk mie basah tepung kacang hijau ini adalah RP.26.000 untuk satu bungkus ,dimana dalam satu bungkus berisi 500gr dengan persentase food cost Rp.14.390, overhead Rp.3.924,dan profit Rp.7.848. ;---
This research aims to increase the diversity of culinary innovation especially in noodle,to find out the wet noodle formulation with the additional of green bean flour (MTKH), consumer accepted test, and wet noodle production cost. The method used in this research is experimental. The first step taken is make a comparison between the standard recipe wheat flour with green bean flour is 50% MTKH1: MTKH2 50% and 70%: 30%. The first test is the organoleptic test to expert panelist as many as 15 people where these tests are obtained from that sample MTKH2 sample is best with an average rating of 4.04 while MTKH1 gets the value of the sample 3.36. After obtaining the best next step is consumer accepted test. This consumer acceptance test involved as many as 100 panelists, with a score of 2078, then the wet noodles of mung bean flour were accepted by consumers, represented by 100 respondents. The cost of production for this green bean flour noodle is Rp. 26,000 for one pack, where in one package contains 500gr with a percentage of food cost Rp. 14,390, overhead Rp. 3,924, and profit Rp. 7,848
