The art of craft in the interior

    Get PDF
In relation to the most characteristic architectural styles and movements, this paper discusses the issues of creation and development of artistic crafts that influence the formation and decoration of interior space. The evolution of crafts from a purely utilitarian activity to a form of decorative and applied art used to transform the interior environment by holistic and functional means is being considered through the lens of subjectspatial and functional-artistic organization

TOPOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF BASES IN ALGEBRAIC-FREE TOPOLOGICAL GROUPS AND TOPOLOGICAL VECTOR SPACES

The dimensionality properties of the M-, l-, b- and weakly l-equivalent spaces and unpreservation of the dimensionality Ind*99+ have been studied. The coincidence of the different dimensionalities on the wide classes of the finite products of the M-, l-, b- and weakly l-equivalent spaces, unpreservation of the dimensionality Ind*99+ by M-equivalence and also the unpreservation of the bicompactness by b-equivalence have been provenAvailable from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio

The paper looks into the problem of finding methods and educational technologies that reveal the creative potential of students, ensure their involvement in the educational process, and ensure the prevention and correction of psychological problems the students might have. The authors review the value of gaming technologies, the peculiarities of their use in teaching foreign languages, especially in connection with the emergence of language anxiety of students, and analyze the types of language anxiety and the role of gaming technologies in the prevention and correction of language anxiety of students. The paper focuses on the causes of language anxiety in teenage students. The study aimed to look into the influence of game forms of education on the reduction of language anxiety of school students learning foreign languages. To achieve the goal and confirm the hypothesis put forward, the authors used the method of measuring language anxiety during the study of a foreign language by Horwitz (Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale). At the formative stage, a set of games was developed, which was used in German lessons with students of the experimental group for one month. Further, the paper analyzes the results of the study of the influence of game forms of learning on the reduction of language anxiety in the study of foreign languages. The paper has not only theoretical significance in terms of considering language anxiety, but also practical significance and novelty because the results of the study showed the high efficiency of gaming technologies and confirmed the fundamental possibility of prevention and psychocorrection of language anxiety with their help

Bioarchaeology and Paleoclimate Aspects of the Study of the Upper Don Region Population of the Middle Bronze Age

    No full text
The paper presents the reconstruction of the lifestyle, environment, and climate conditions of the inhabitants of the forest-steppe zone of the East European Plain in the Middle Bronze Age. Presented study is based on the results of archaeological work on the territory of the archaeological heritage site «Volkhonskiye Vyselki 1, kurgan» carried out in 2021 by the expedition of the Lipetsk regional scientific public organization «Archaeological Research». The mound belongs to the Middle Don Catacomb culture and contains 9 graves. It was demonstrated that the climate at the time of the creation of the mound were more arid than at modern times by soil-archaeological method. Levels of mobile P forms in soils suggest that the site was used for feasts, both before the creation of the mound and after. The gender and age, osteometric and pathological characteristics of the skeletons of 15 buried are given. Because of the results of isotope analyzes it has been assumed that the diet of the deceased was based on plant food

Synthesis and studies of N-vinylcaprolactam/N-vinylimidazole copolymers taht exhibit the ”proteinlike” behaviour in aquesous media

Proteinlike copolymers were first predicted by the computer-aided biomimetic design (Physica A 1998, 249, 253-261). These copolymers consist of comonomer units of differing hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity. Heterogeneous blockiness, characteristic for such copolymers, facilitates chain folding with the formation of specific spatial packing: a dense core consisting of hydrophobic units and a polar shell formed by hydrophilic units. This paper describes the synthesis of N-vinylcaprolactam/N-vinylimidazole copolymers via the redox-initiated radical copolymerization in the medium of 10% aqueous DMSO at the temperatures both below and above the phase separation threshold. The synthesized macromolecular products were separated into thermally precipitating and nonprecipitating fractions. Their molecular weight characteristics were evaluated using size-exclusion chromatography; their comonomer composition was determined from 1H NMR spectra of copolymers dissolved in DMSO-d6. The temperature-dependent behavior of copolymer macromolecules in water was investigated by thermonephelometry, high-sensitivity differential scanning calorimetry, and 1H NMR spectroscopy of the copolymers dissolved in D2O. It was shown that thermally nonprecipitating copolymer fractions obtained at initial comonomer molar ratios of 85:15 and 90:10 can be identified as proteinlike copolymers

Dynamics of physiological and biochemical processes in avocado fruit treated with preparations during storage

    No full text
This article presents data on the effect of processing avocado fruit on the dynamics of physiological and biochemical processes during low-temperature storage. The aim was to explore the effect of processing Fuerte avocado fruit with ‘Agrokhit’, ‘KHAN-8’ and ‘Extrasol-90’ preparations on the dynamics of physiological and biochemical processes during storage. The effectiveness of the preparations on the change in physiological and biochemical processes during storage of avocado fruit was evaluated by the release of carbon dioxide during their respiration, by the activity of terminal oxidases and the hydrolysis of pectin substances. The respiration rate, the activity of terminal oxidases – catalase, peroxidase, phenol oxidase, tyrosinase – and the kinetics of the hydrolysis of protopectin and pectin depended on the type of preparation and the duration of storage. Processing avocado fruit with the examined preparations did not violate metabolism, which was regulated by change in the activity of terminal oxidases of the plant cells, a reduced respiration rate and the rate of hydrolysis of protopectin and pectin. As a result, there was an increase in the storage period and fruit ripening. To slow down the physiological and biochemical processes – to increase the duration of ripening and storage of avocado fruit – it is recommended that they be treated with chitin derivatives Agrokhit and KHAN-8
