Processes in regulatory systems during development of various adaptational reactions and evaluation of functional state dynamics in the organism

    No full text
The paper describes some concepts on processes occurring in the neuroendocrine and immune systems during development of general unspecific adaptational reactions. The concepts are based on the known evidence on the changes in the regulatory systems and the previously identified peculiarities in correlations between the levels of biogenic amines in blood and the organs, respectively, under various adaptational reactions, as well as the known effects of biogenic amines. A number of practical consequences significant for the correct evaluation of the functional state in humans and animals are also considered herein

Methodological fundamentals of experimental magneto-therapy of tumors (historical essay)

The paper highlights the key stages on the way of a proper understanding of the magnetic field anti-tumor influence mechanisms on the level of an organism as an integrated system and its individual subsystems. The experiments in animals have shown that the processes of the malignant tumor growth inhibition are closely related to the formation of the stable state of the activation reaction at high reactivity levels. It is noted that the induction of such adaptational reaction depends on a specified selection of parameters of exposure intensities and magnetic field frequency, taking into account the law of nonlinearity of an exposure effect and adequacy with endogenous rhythms

Some strategies of activation therapy using radiations of microwave ranges in experiments on tumorbearing animals

The paper offers an analysis of activation therapy approaches to an increase in efficacy of antitumor treatment with the use of electromagnetic-nature factors as developed by L.Kh. Garkavi and E.B.Kvakina. Basic principles of optimization of the effects of exposures to electromagnetic radiation in various frequency bands, considering the patterns of development of general unspecific adaptation reactions of the organism as well as conceptual presentation of the organism as a complex nonlinear dissipative system, are described herein. Analyzed are effects of exposure to low-intensity radiationin the millimeter and decimeter wave bands, undertaken according to the above principles, detected in oculated tumor bearing rats. A weak infra-low magnetic field was applied in the study as an additional factor. The experimental study shows a possibility to obtain marked antitumor effects without use of conventional antitumor therapy means

The new high-tech era begins not with supply of an innovative product to the market, but rather with an intellectual leap in the field of open issues in fundamental engineering, healthcare and education. In the present essay, an example of the successful translation of mathematical, physics- and engineering-related philosophy into the digital platform of Cardiometry is discussed. The theory of hemodynamics, the laws of axiomatics, logic and adaptation can be expressed in terms of mathematics. The original analytical software used in PC-assisted device Cardiocode allows carrying out a phase analysis of the hemodynamics within an extended range. Pilot studies conducted by us in cancer patients at the stages of multi-course chemotherapy have revealed abnormalities and disorders in hemodynamics, energy exchange and adaptation expectancy of the heart at early stages of cancer treatment that is of prognostic significance. Pronounced processes of destabilization in hemodynamics, a suppressed energy exchange and a degradation of adaptation capabilities by the end of the chemotherapy courses involves the appearance of cardiotoxic effects. Based on records covering the specific frequencies discovered in ECG & Rheogram, the R-R interval scatter plots, the metabolic parameters and the Baevsky stress index, we have demonstrated cardioprotective influence made by xenon as a possible solution of the indicated problem. Thus, the Cardiocode technology supports diagnostics by offering an original cardiometric approach, significantly broadening the notion of cardio-oncology from the perspective of the cardiotoxicity pathogenesis under the cancer development conditions and in treatment thereof
