Dimensional regularization and renormalization of non-commutative QFT

Using the recently introduced parametric representation of non-commutative quantum field theory, we implement here the dimensional regularization and renormalization of the vulcanized Φ4⋆4\Phi^{\star 4}_4 model on the Moyal space.Comment: 31 pages, 8 figure

The double scaling limit of the multi-orientable tensor model

In this paper we study the double scaling limit of the multi-orientable tensor model. We prove that, contrary to the case of matrix models but similarly to the case of invariant tensor models, the double scaling series are convergent. We resum the double scaling series of the two point function and of the leading singular part of the four point function. We discuss the behavior of the leading singular part of arbitrary correlation functions. We show that the contribution of the four point function and of all the higher point functions are enhanced in the double scaling limit. We finally show that all the correlation functions exhibit a singularity at the same critical value of the double scaling parameter which, combined with the convergence of the double scaling series, suggest the existence of a triple scaling limit

Commutative limit of a renormalizable noncommutative model

Renormalizable ϕ4⋆4\phi^{\star 4}_4 models on Moyal space have been obtained by modifying the commutative propagator. But these models have a divergent "naive" commutative limit. We explain here how to obtain a coherent such commutative limit for a recently proposed translation-invariant model. The mechanism relies on the analysis of the uv/ir mixing in general Feynman graphs.Comment: 11 pages, 3 figures, minor misprints being correcte

One-loop β\beta functions of a translation-invariant renormalizable noncommutative scalar model

Recently, a new type of renormalizable ϕ4⋆4\phi^{\star 4}_{4} scalar model on the Moyal space was proved to be perturbatively renormalizable. It is translation-invariant and introduces in the action a a/(θ2p2)a/(\theta^2p^2) term. We calculate here the β\beta and γ\gamma functions at one-loop level for this model. The coupling constant βλ\beta_\lambda function is proved to have the same behaviour as the one of the ϕ4\phi^4 model on the commutative R4\mathbb{R}^4. The βa\beta_a function of the new parameter aa is also calculated. Some interpretation of these results are done.Comment: 13 pages, 3 figure

Exorcizing the Landau Ghost in Non Commutative Quantum Field Theory

We show that the simplest non commutative renormalizable field theory, the Ï•4\phi^4 model on four dimensional Moyal space with harmonic potential is asymptotically safe to all orders in perturbation theor

    Gauge Invariant Cutoff QED

A hidden generalized gauge symmetry of a cutoff QED is used to show the renormalizability of QED. In particular, it is shown that corresponding Ward identities are valid all along the renormalization group flow. The exact Renormalization Group flow equation corresponding to the effective action of a cutoff lambda phi^4 theory is also derived. Generalization to any gauge group is indicated.Comment: V1: 18 pages, 2 figures; V2: Discussions improved. Version accepted for publication in Physica Script

    EPRL/FK Group Field Theory

The purpose of this short note is to clarify the Group Field Theory vertex and propagators corresponding to the EPRL/FK spin foam models and to detail the subtraction of leading divergences of the model.Comment: 20 pages, 2 figure

On the Effective Action of Noncommutative Yang-Mills Theory

We compute here the Yang-Mills effective action on Moyal space by integrating over the scalar fields in a noncommutative scalar field theory with harmonic term, minimally coupled to an external gauge potential. We also explain the special regularisation scheme chosen here and give some links to the Schwinger parametric representation. Finally, we discuss the results obtained: a noncommutative possibly renormalisable Yang-Mills theory.Comment: 19 pages, 6 figures.
