The Degree of Satisfaction of Convict Disabled for Rehabilitative Services Provided to Them in the Jordanian Reform and Rehabilitation Centers

The present study aimed to detect the degree of satisfaction of the convict disabled in the reform and rehabilitation centers of Jordan on the rehabilitative services provided to them in the fields (medical, psychological, academic, recreational and professional), the study sample consisted of (38) members of the convict disabled and who are presented in the reform and rehabilitation centers of Jordan, the sample included various disabilities, most of them with physical and health disabilities, the results showed that the degree of satisfaction of convict disabled for rehabilitative services provided to them in the Jordanian reform and rehabilitation centers was moderate in the five domains in overall tool of the study . The results also showed no statistically significant differences on the level of significance (α = 0.05) between the means of the degree of satisfaction of those disabled sentenced for rehabilitative services provided to them in the reform and rehabilitation Jordanian centers, according to the variables type of disability, economic level, marital status, and educational level, and so on all the five domains of study tool as well as the overall tool. Leach routing protocol for image transfer using Castalia simulator

International audienceIn multimedia wireless sensor network, a routing protocol plays an important role in saving the limited resources of sensors. It allows a node to transmit a multimedia content, an image in our case, to the sink. In this paper, we are going to use the Castralia simulator to test different configurations of leach routing protocol. Energy Contents of Gravitational Waves in Teleparallel Gravity

The conserved quantities, that are, gravitational energy-momentum and its relevant quantities are investigated for cylindrical and spherical gravitational waves in the framework of teleparallel equivalent of General Relativity using the Hamiltonian approach. For both cylindrical and spherical gravitational waves, we obtain definite energy and constant momentum. The constant momentum shows consistency with the results available in General Relativity and teleparallel gravity. The angular momentum for cylindrical and spherical gravitational waves also turn out to be constant. Further, we evaluate their gravitational energy-momentum fluxes and gravitational pressure.Comment: 14 pages, accepted for publication in Mod. Phys. Lett.

Design of a framework for the aggregator using demand reduction bid (DRB)

Demand side management (DSM) in smart grid paradigm is an energy management strategy of the grid using advanced data communication and networking. The aggregator, a third party entity, is appearing as a key player in managing the demand during the peak hours between the utility and the consumer. In this work, a general framework is discussed and focuses on the interactional issues between the utility, the aggregator and the consumers. The paper also discusses the role of communication in the context of interaction among the three players. In addition, it also presents the model of the framework which can enable the consumer to effectively participate in the DSM.
