Possibility of S=1 spin liquids with fermionic spinons on triangular lattices
In this paper we generalize the fermionic representation for spins to
arbitrary spins. Within a mean field theory we obtain several spin liquid
states for spin antiferromagnets on triangular lattices, including
gapless f-wave spin liquid and topologically nontrivial spin liquid.
After considering different competing orders, we construct a phase diagram for
the -- model. The application to recently discovered material
is discussed.Comment: 5 pages, 3 figure
Prediction of Financial Capacity using Diffusion Compartment Imaging
Financial Capacity (FC) is the ability to manage one’s financial affairs, which is essential for autonomy and independence particularly for aging adults. Since dementia develops gradually, it is often difficult to detect the early signs that this cognitive dysfunction is developing This project aims to use Neurite orientation dispersion and density imaging (NODDI) to identify the white matter tracts that are associated with FC. Diffusion Tensor Images (DTI) and T1 Magnetic Resonance Images (MRI) of 18 Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) subjects, 47 Mild Cognitive Impaired (MCI) subjects, and 193 healthy control (CN) are compared to neuropsychological tests. Orientation Dispersion Index (ODI) values are derived using NODDI analysis of the DTI and MRI. This study found that the ODI values in the cingulum have the highest association with FC. In conclusion, our study suggested that the degradation of white matter and episodic memory dysfunction were most strongly associated with reduced FC
Talent management among small and medium enterprise (SMEs) in Melaka for its sustainability
Talent management is critical for SMEs who face competition from bigger firm. In
this research, review of academic work and attempt to organize the literature by
creating a theoretical framework for understanding in talent management among
SMEs in Melaka, Malaysia. To guide this research, theoretical framework highlights
several level of knowledge in talent management among SMEs in Melaka, Malaysia
for its sustainability. This research will also highlight the potential role of human
resource activities in addressing those talent management challenges. This research
will be conducted by providing true information by random sample without bias. One
hundred respondents in random manufacturing SMEs companies participated in this
study. An ANOV A test was used to investigate differences in the extent of
companies' practices and talent management strategies types. Hierarchical regression
analysis was carried out to examine the relationship between market orientation and
organizational performance and the moderating effects of market environment
