The article is devoted to the analysis of the peculiarities of coloristic metaphor system of the FRG media-political discourse of the coronavirus epoch. While the investigation, the basic characteristics of the color spectrum of modern “coronapolitical” reality were revealed, new acute social-political phenomena of the pandemic period, named by the figurative color representations of the German media-political discourse were objectified, key pragmatic meanings of the type of color images under consideration were analyzed. As a result of the conducted research it is worth concluding that the basic color palette of the German coronavirus media-political discourse, modelled by metaphorical images, is objectified by key coloronyms of dark tones as well as grey, red, yellow, green colors. Pretty vivid representation of such kind of color-naming is connected with the emergence of absolutely new phenomena-realities of the “covid time”, such as (“coronavirus”, “COVID traffic lights”, “green passport”). Pragmatic potential of “coronavirus” metaphors in the format of the German media-political discourse is generally connected with the negative influence, with the forming of pejorative meanings of alarm, anxiety, pessimism, apathy, danger and death

The article presents information on the state of the oxidation-reduction process in exacerbation of chronic pyelonephritis (CP) in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) type 2. The objective of the study — evaluation of the degree of oxidative stress (OS) and the state of the antioxidant system in patients with exacerbation of chronic pyelonephritis due to DM type 2. Materials and Methods. Under clinical supervision there were 88 patients with CP against DM type 2 background aged from 43 to 80 years. The first group of patients received therapy with lomefloxacin or ceftriaxone, as well as hypoglycemic agents. Another group received antibiotic and glucose-lowering therapy, as combination of canephron H and thiotriazoline. The Results of the Study. In patients with comorbid disorders, CH exacerbation are associated with more significant pro-oxidant processes. Adding to antibiotic and glucose-lowering therapy the combination of canephron H and thiotriazoline increases the efficiency of the treatment process and has a positive effect on the state of oxidation-reduction potential of the body. Conclusions. In blood serum of patients with CP against DM 2 we noted been a sharp increase in the processes of oxidative modification of proteins (MBP). Treatment of patients has a positive effect on the process of biomolecules oxidation, particularly for the induced process, that indicates increased resistance of proteins to peroxidation

Genetic aspects of primary hyperoxaluria: diagnostics and treatment

Primary hyperoxaluria is a group of inherited metabolic diseases characterized by increased formation of calcium-oxalate stones in kidneys with development of nephrolithiasis and chronic kidney disease. The article summarizes the modern information on the diagnostics and treatment of the disorder depending on genotype of the patient (AGXT, GRHPR, HOGA1 genes). The evaluation of the molecular genetic aetiology of the kidney stone disease contributes to the personalized treatment and prevention of the pathology in the patients and their relatives

Genetic aspects of primary hyperoxaluria: epidemiology, ethiology, pathogenesis, and clinical signs of the disorder

Primary hyperoxaluria is a group of rare inherited diseases characterized by impaired oxalate metabolism with the early manifestation of urolithiasis and the development of the chronic kidney disease. The mutations in the AGXT, GRHPR, HOGA1 genes are attributable for different types of primary hyperoxaluria leading to the dysfunction of specific enzymes involved in the oxalate metabolism. The article summary the current data on the epidemiology, genetic and biochemical aspects of pathogenesis of the primary hyperoxaluria types 1-3. The variety of clinical signs and disease severity depend on the type of hyperoxaluria
