Analisis Aspek Pembentuk Budaya K3 dengan Kepatuhan Penggunaan Apd pada Pekerja Produksi Resin di Sidoarjo
The Ministry of Republic Indonesia launched in 2015 as the national safety culture that every industrial sector was required to implement the safety culture as well. One of the effort to create safety culture in the companies with cultivating the behavior for using personal protection equipment at work. Cooper an expert of safety management explained there were three elements forming safety culture, psychological, behavior, and organization and situation aspect. The main purpose was to analyze the relationship between psychological aspect of workers and organization and a situation aspect with the behavior for using PPE. This is an observational analytic study with cross sectional approach. Data were analyzed with univariate and bivariate. Sample of this research were 25 workers from 32 population that gets by simple random sampling method. Data were collected by questionnaire and observation then analyze in descriptive and use cross tabulating and correlation spearmen test to obtain relationship between variables. The result showed that most of the workers (56%) have low behavior on PPE USAge. There almost all workers have a good motivation and clarified that availability and training about PPE was fair. There were significant correlation between motivation and training with complience of using PPE. Higly recommendation for company to increase the motivation for workers by apply a reward system

Effective models of quantum gravity induced by Planck scale modifications in the covariant quantum algebra
In this paper we introduce a modified covariant quantum algebra based in the
so-called Quesne-Tkachuk algebra. By means of a deformation procedure we arrive
at a class of higher derivative models of gravity. The study of the particle
spectra of these models reveals an equivalence with the physical content of the
well-known renormalizable and super-renormalizable higher derivative gravities.
The particle spectrum exhibits the presence of spurious complex ghosts and, in
light of this problem, we suggest an interesting interpretation in the context
of minimal length theories. Also, a discussion regarding the non-relativistic
potential energy is proposed.Comment: Small corrections were made; improved figures; results unchanged;

Radiocarbon and blue optically stimulated luminescence chronologies of the Oitavos consolidated dune (Western Portugal)
The dune of Oitavos, the underlying paleosol, and Helix sp. gastropod shells found within the paleosol were dated using a combination of radiocarbon and blue optically stimulated luminescence (OSL). The organic component of the paleosol produced a significantly older age (~20,000 cal BP) than the OSL age measurement (~15,000 yr), while 14C age measurements on the inorganic component and the gastropods produced ages of ~35,000 yr and ~34,000 yr, respectively. Rare-earth
element analyses provide evidence that the gastropods incorporate geological carbonate, making them an unreliable indicator of the age of the paleosol. We propose that the 14C age of the small organic component of the paleosol is also likely to be unreliable due to incorporation of residual material. The OSL age measurement of the upper paleosol (~15,000 yr) is consistent with the age for the base of the dune (~14,500 yr). The younger OSL age for the top of the dune (~12,000 yr) suggests that it was built up by at least 2 sand pulses or that there was a remobilization of material at the top during its evolution, prior to consolidation
Morphological transition between diffusion-limited and ballistic aggregation growth patterns
In this work, the transition between diffusion-limited and ballistic
aggregation models was revisited using a model in which biased random walks
simulate the particle trajectories. The bias is controlled by a parameter
, which assumes the value (1) for ballistic
(diffusion-limited) aggregation model. Patterns growing from a single seed were
considered. In order to simulate large clusters, a new efficient algorithm was
developed. For , the patterns are fractal on the small length
scales, but homogeneous on the large ones. We evaluated the mean density of
particles in the region defined by a circle of radius centered
at the initial seed. As a function of , reaches the asymptotic
value following a power law
with a universal exponent , independent of . The
asymptotic value has the behavior , where . The characteristic crossover length that determines the transition
from DLA- to BA-like scaling regimes is given by ,
where , while the cluster mass at the crossover follows a power
law , where . We deduce the
scaling relations \beta=\n u\gamma and between these
exponents.Comment: 7 pages, 8 figure
