Projektowanie elektromechanicznych przetwornik贸w energii elektrycznej obejmuje trzy etapy: analiz臋 teoretyczn膮, modelowanie i badania symulacyjne oraz implementacj臋 i badania w warunkach laboratoryjnych. Hardware In the Loop) oraz RCP (ang. Rapid Control Prototyping) w zakresie komputerowego wspomagania projektowania elektromechanicznych przetwornik贸w energii elektrycznej. The process of designing of an electromechanical transducer consists of three phases: the theoretical analysis, research (modelling and simulation), and the implementation and testing in the laboratory. Computer technologies allow the quick transition between subsequent phases of research, but also their parallel running. This paper presents the possibility of using LabView and JMAG for this purpose. The techniques: Hardware in the Loop (HIL) and Rapid Control Prototyping (RCP) in the field of computer-aided design of electromechanical transducers have been described

    No full text
The paper deals with the project of an electric motor with permanent magnets flux control for cars. One of the aims of this project is to test the prototype machine. According to the assumptions, this machine should have a high efficiency throughout the motor speed range and load. At the same time it should have a high starting torque and the ability to easy control of the speed of nearly 10,000 rpm. Testing of the prototype machine with such requirements means considerable demands on the test equipment. For these reasons, it was decided to build a new test stand with computer measuring system and high speed asynchronous motor fed regenerative inverter. The control of the test stand is based on the sb-RIO controller, and for measurement data acquisition system shall be responsible PXI modular systems both from National Instruments. All components of the test stand and their functions have also been described.W pracy przedstawiono problematyk臋 bada艅 silnika elektrycznego z regulacj膮 strumienia magnes贸w trwa艂ych do nap臋du samochod贸w. Celem realizowanego projektu, opr贸cz analizy teoretycznej i budowy silnika, jest przeprowadzenie kompleksowych bada艅 prototypu.

Do predykcji wyst膮pienia nietypowych zjawisk dynamicznych w analizowanej maszynie wykorzystano funkcje autoregresji oraz autokorelacji. This paper presents mathematical equations describing the unusual dynamical behaviour of a permanent-magnet synchronous motor. The dynamical behaviour of the proposed machine has been defined both in real three phase coordinates and in Cartesian coordinates systems. The dynamic phenomena occurring in the machine for different values of its parameters, with particular reference to the possibility of bifurcation and chaotic states have been analysed. The autocorrelation and the autoregressive functions have been used for the prediction of the unusual dynamical behaviour of the permanent-magnet synchronous motor

The problem with parameters identification of the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous machine with flux control is that the inductive parameters are not constant, because of the nature of the spatial nature of electromagnetic phenomena. Results may change depending on the flux, but also on the position of the rotor. This article describes of the method parameters identify of permanent magnet synchronous machines and formulates conclusions on the method presented in the paper. W artykule przedstawiono propozycj臋 metodyki eksperymentalnej identyfikacji parametr贸w maszyn wzbudzanych magnesami trwa艂ymi oraz sformu艂owano wnioski dotycz膮ce metody przedstawionej w artykule

Dynamic performance analysis of electric controlled permanent magnet excited synchronous machine for electric vehicles

    No full text
This paper presents a machine topology, by which the field weakening is enabled with a simple stator fixed DC-coil. This machine can be used in modern drives for electro-mobiles. To control the field in the range from zero up to maximal values, which offers wide speed variations, this coil has to be fed by a simple DC-chopper. The dynamic phenomena occurring in the machine for various values of its parameters (the possibility of bifurcation and chaotic states) has been analyzed

    No full text
There are many configurations of feeding systems of big industrial substations, mainly 110/6 kV. Majority of load in industrial substations are induction and synchronous electric motors. Big electric motors are supplied directly from 6 kV busbars in 110/6 kV substation. Moreover generators are connected to this busbars. Majority of electric motors are connected to low voltage network. The level of short-circuit power depends on short-circuit currents flowing from power system, from generators and electric motors. The paper contains analysis of influence of electric motors on short-circuit level on 6 kV busbars. The conditions of possible start of induction motor are analyzed for different configuration of 6 kV system in 110/6 kV substation

Modified concept of permanent magnet excited synchronous machines with improved high-speed features

Permanent magnet (PM) excited synchronous machines used in modern drives for electro-mobiles suffer in high speed regions from the limited battery-voltage. The field weakening requires designing machines with reduced power conversion properties or increasing the size of the power converter. A new concept of such a machine features PM excitation, single-tooth winding and an additional circumferential excitation coil fixed on the stator in the axial center of the machine. By the appropriate feeding of this coil, the amplitude of the voltage effective excitation field can be varied from zero to values above those of the conventional PM-machines. The capability of reducing the excitation field to zero is an important safety aspect in case of failing of the feeding convertor
