Concomitant occurrence of both hypodontia (congenital tooth agenesis) and hyperdontia (supernumerary tooth) in the same dental arch is an extremely rare dental anomaly. Literature search shows very few cases of this anomalous condition with all cases depicting the unilateral presence of supernumerary tooth. Therefore, the intention of the current article is to report two cases of concomitant occurrence of mandibular both hypo-hyperdontia. In that one case exhibited bilateral occurrence of mesiodens teeth in the midline of mandible with associated agenesis of permanent both central incisors and taurodontism in permanent molars, which is not published so far. The article also provides comprehensive literature review on this rarest clinical entity

Background. This paper reports a case with end-on-molar relation with maxillary anterior teeth proclination, lower anterior teeth crowding, and deep bite. The case was successfully treated in a short span. Clinically significant improvement in the dimensions of the maxillary and mandibular dental arch forms and sufficient space for the eruption of permanent teeth was observed. Conclusion. Therefore, it can be concluded that preorthodontic trainer is a valid treatment of choice in mixed dentition where transverse expansion is a part of the treatment plan, as the results obtained are within short period of time and have less chances of relapse, because the correction of a malocclusion is by elimination of soft tissue dysfunction

Abstract Radicular cysts in the primary dentition are rare, whereas they are most commonly occurring in the permanent dentition. We present a rare case of a radicular cyst associated with a non vital deciduous maxillary canine tooth with a history of trauma. The permanent canine was impacted due to the cyst. After the enucleation of the cyst, we observed a spontaneous eruption of the permanent canine. Our aim is to emphasize the early recognition and intervention of inflammatory radicular lesions associated with deciduous anterior teeth which otherwise may adversely impact the underlying permanent successor
