    Tujuan disusunya peta mutu pendidikan (capaian Standar Nasional Pendidikan) Kabupaten Tabanan adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran ketercapaian mutu pendidikan Kabupaten Tabanan serta analisisnya, dan untuk menyusun laporan rekomendasi strategi peningkatan mutu pendidikan di tingkat Kabupaten Tabanan berdasarkan pemetaan mutu pendidikan dengan harapn dapat mendorong satuan pendidikan maupun pemerintah daerah mengimplemenatsikan SMPM dengan baik dan berkelanjutan. Hasil dari Pemetaan Mutu Pendidikan Kabupaten Tabanan tahun 2018 adalah: 1. Data Peta Mutu Pendidikan Kabupaten Tabanan tahun 2018 diperoleh dari pendataan mutu pendidikan melalui perangkat Pendataan Mutu Pendidikan (PMP) data Data Pokok Pendidikan (Dapodik) 2. Peta Mutu Pendidikan menyediakan informasi mutu pendidikan Kabupaten Tabanan dan dapat digunakan sebagai basis data untuk merancang program peningkatan mutu pendidikan seluruh stakeholders pendidikan sesuai dengan kewenanganya. 3. Terjadi ketidaksesuaian data pada beberapa item Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP) disebabkan oleh komponen sistem pemetaan, petugas pemetaan dan responden. 4. Dalam Evaluasi Diri Sekolah (EDS) data yang tidak sesuai langsung disesuaikan dengan kondisi riil sekola

    Sipandu Beradat merupakan sistem keamanan dan ketertiban yang mengintegrasikan kegiatan antar komponen pengamanan di desa adat dalam rangka mewujudkan sistem pengamanan lingkungan yang terpadu dengan memperhatikan nilai-nilai budaya Bali. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, penelitian ini meneliti pola pelibatan masyarakat dalam Sipandu Beradat sebagai upaya pencegahan tindak pidana di Kabupaten Buleleng dan efektivitas pelibatan masyarakat dalam Sipandu Beradat sebagai upaya pencegahan tindak pidana di Kabupaten Buleleng. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum empiris, bersifat deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi dokumen dan wawancara. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif. Pola pelibatan masyarakat dalam Sipandu Beradat sebagai upaya pencegahan tindak pidana di Kabupaten Buleleng merupakan pelibatan sukarela, yang inisiatifnya bersumber dari masyarakat. Dari perspektif kepolisian, pola pelibatan masyarakat dalam penciptaan ketertiban dan kemanan masyarakat melalui upaya pre-emtif dan preventif sesuai dengan kebijakan pemolisian masyarakat, sepanjang masalah-masalah hukum yang diselesaikan memeuhi syarat formil dan materiil. Pelibatan masyarakat dalam Sipandu Beradat sebagai upaya pencegahan tindak pidana di Kabupaten Buleleng, belum efektif, karena masalah pendanaan, koordinasi, kesamaan persepsi dan pemahaman dan dianggap ada tumpang tindih dengan sistem keamanan yang lain

    Fungsi pengawasan DPRD ditegaskan dalam Pasal 293 Undang- Undang Nomor 27 Tahun 2009 tentang MPR, DPR, DPD dan DPRD yang menyebutkan bahwa salah satu tugas dan wewenang DPRD adalah melaksanakan pengawasan terhadap pelaksanaan Peraturan Daerah dan APBD. Penelitian ini meneliti tata cara penerimaan pengaduan masyarakat dalam rangka pelaksanaan fungsi pengawasan DPRD Kabupaten Buleleng Periode 2009-2014 dan tindak lanjut dari penerimaan pengaduan masyarakat dalam rangka pelaksanaan fungsi pengawasan DPRD Kabupaten Buleleng Periode 2009-2014. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum empiris, bersifat deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi dokumen dan wawancara. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif. Pengaduan masyarakat dapat disampaikan kepada anggota DPRD, Komisi, Gabungan Komisi, Panitia Khusus (Pansus), Pimpinan, maupun Fraksi, Setelah diterima pengaduan tersebut akan dianalisis. Jika aduan tersebut bersifat ringan segera dilakukan evaluasi dan/atau perbaikan, Jika aduan tersebut bersifat sedang dan berat dilakukan peninjauan lapangan dan analisis. Setelah itu dilakukan upaya perbaikan sebagai bentuk umpan balik kepada masyarakat. Tindak lanjut dari penerimaan pengaduan masyarakat berupa: tindakan perbaikan, baik secara adminsitrasi dan kualitas pelayanan; tindakan penghentian proyek maupun program, dan tindakan hukum

    COMPARISON TENSILE STRENGTH OF NATURAL AND SYNTHETIC ABSORBABLE SUTURES

    Objective: The aim of the investigation is to evaluate and to compare the tensile strength of commercial natural and synthetic absorbable suturematerials currently used in surgery. The natural absorbable sutures of chromic catgut are prepared for this purpose as well as commercial syntheticabsorbable sutures made from polyglycolide.Methods: The analysis has been carried out following the standard test method for tensile strength and Young’s modulus of fiber ASTM C1557-03.Measuring the diameter of each suture has been carried out with an optical microscope to determine the accuracy of manufacturers’ data. Tensiletesting has been performed to evaluate the tensile strength of each type of sutures. The modulus elasticity and strain (ϵ) obtained are also presented.Results: The results show that sutures made from braided synthetic material of polyglycolide (violet coated) present a tensile strength remarkablysuperior (1070.292 MPa) to that of natural absorbable sutures of chromic catgut (392.276 MPa). Using optical macro microscope analysis,monofilament sutures present less surface irregularities than multifilament polyglycolide sutures. Chromic catgut monofilament sutures present lesssurface irregularities than multifilament polyglycolide.Conclusion: Tensile test of absorbable sutures was conducted in this research. Two types of absorbable sutures were investigated and compared. It isfound that sutures made from braided synthetic material of polyglycolide (violet coated) having much better tensile strength comparing with suturesmade from natural material (chromic catgut monofilament)

    ON INVESTIGATION OF TENSILE STRENGTH OF COMMERCIAL SYNTHETIC NON-ABSORBABLE SUTURE MADE FROM OF BLUE POLYPROPYLENE MONOFILAMENT

    Objective: The purpose of this research is to investigate the tensile strength of commercial synthetic non-absorbable suture made from blue polypropylene monofilament that commonly used in surgery.Methods: The commercial synthetic non-absorbable made from blue polypropylene monofilament was prepared for this purpose. The ASTM C1557-03 was used as a standard the method for analysis. For accuracy of the measurement, the diameter of the sutures was measured using optical microscope. The tensile strength, strain at failure, and modulus elasticity of the sutures were measured following instruction from the standard test method. The graph strain versus stress was provided.Results: Results show that that the average tensile strength of five valid tested samples is about 875.812 MPa. The average strain is found about 0.282. The average of modulus of elasticity is 4026.069 MPa.Conclusion: It is concluded that the sutures of commercial synthetic non-absorbable suture made from blue polypropylene monofilament having linier elastic as well as plastic properties. The average tensile strength of five valid tested samples is about 875.812 MPa. The average strain at failure is found about 0.282. The average of modulus of elasticity is 4026.069 MPa

    CHANGING BODY POSTURE AND WORKING SYSTEM IMPROVES WOKERS PERFORMANCE AND PRODUCT QUALITY

    Seaweed is one of the nation’s potential marine commodities that maycontribute to the national revenue and a new source of income for the localcommunity, as the cultivation of seaweed is much easier and cheaper than paddycrop, because neither pesticides nor fertilizer would be required. Other advantages ofcultivating seaweed are the fact that it can be carried out throughout the year, and itsrelatively shorter duration to reach the harvesting time. Local practice of drying theseaweed is by spreading it over a plastic sheet on the ground and exposing it to thesun. Unfortunately, such traditional practice of drying seaweed has led to increasedrisk of contamination of seaweed by dust and sand particles and other impurities.The quality of seaweed is influenced by the type of seedlings, harvesting age, andthe crucial process of drying. The local traditional working posture during drying issquatting and stooping to flatten and spread evenly the seaweed. Our preliminarystudy has shown that the farmers have had considerable musculoskeletal complaintsand fatigue with the seaweed quality being still relatively low.This study was conducted to examine the effects of changing the workers’working posture and limiting lift weight at 23 kg and introduced a 5-minute breakafter an-hour work with the aim to improve both workers’ performance and seaweedquality and productivity. This is an experimental study using a two-period crossoverdesign on 20 farmers of seaweed cultivation in the Ped Village of Nusa Penida.The results of our study showed that redesigning and changing the workers’working posture and working system improved the performance of seaweed farmersas revealed by the decrease of musculoskeletal complaints to 56.15% (p < 0.05); bydecrease in general fatigue to 50.84% (p < 0.05); by the increase in productivity to37.93% (p < 0.05), and by the increase in income to 41.62% (p < 0.05). The qualityof the dried seaweed was also improved as could be seen from the decrease in watercontent to 29.24% (p < 0.05) and decrease in impurities to 33.33% (p < 0.05).From our data it could be inferred that changing the workers’ working bodyposture and working system significantly improved both their performance and thequality of their product

    EFFECT OF FEEDING WITH HERB OF ERYTHRINA VARIEGATA TO BIOCOMPATIBILITY OF THE COCOON FIBER OF WILD SILK MOTH ATTACUS ATLAS FOR FUTURE APPLICATION AS BIOCOMPATIBLE OF SILK SUTURES

    Objectives: Silk is biocompatible as biomaterial and has been used commercially as sutures. More interesting properties of the silk are that the mechanical properties exceed all natural polymer and synthetic materials. In this research, a type of silk suture is being developed from species of Attacus atlas to obtain better biocompatible sutures. A. atlas is a species of silk moth that consume not only single types of leaves. The Quality of cocoon fiber then can be arranged base on the types of the leaves that is consumed. Better biocompatibility sutures comparing with recent commercial silk sutures which is not biocompatible, can be achieved by feeding with variety types of leaves. Silk suture that already established in the market is a base product of Bombyx mori species of silk which is only consume one type of leaf (mulberry leaves).Methods: In this research, the A. atlas cocoon was produced by feeding with herb Erythrina variegate. The microstructure was observed, element composition as well as biocompatibles properties was investigated.Results: A high composition of kalium (K) as well as chloride (Cl) is identified in the fiber. The released fiber from cocoon also indicates high biocompatibility that is promising as biocompatible suture.Conclusion: The biocompatible fiber for future application as sutures is possible to be prepared by feeding the wild silkworm of A. atlas with leaf of E. variegate. The fiber is found rich with kalium (K) as well as chloride (Cl) with irregular shape of crystal at the surface of the fiber
