Penerapan model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada materi larutan penyangga

Berpikir tingkat tinggi merupakan faktor yang penting dalam dunia pendidikan agar menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang mampu bersaing dalam tatanan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran flipped classroom pada materi larutan penyangga. Metode yang digunakan ialah pre experiment dengan desain one grup pretest-posttest. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi aktivitas mahasiswa dan lembar tes kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Subjek penelitian merupakan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia semester II kelas A sebanyak 38 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dengan N-Gain 0,44 serta termasuk kategori sedang. Hal ini dicapai karena mahasiswa mengeksplorasi materi secara optimal di luar jam tatap muka dengan bantuan video pembelajaran serta dibantu dengan media pembelajaran berbasis instagram. Dengan demikian penerapan model flipped classroom pada materi larutan penyangga dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa

“Al-Musaqah” and Sharia Agribusiness System: An Alternative Way to Meet Staple Food Self-Sufficiency in Contemporary Indonesia

The concept of al-musaqah appears in Islamic history when Prophet Muhammad conquered the fertile farmland surrounding Khaibar, abandoned by Jews as the original owner of the land. The concept of al-musaqoh also appears in fiqh deliberations, in which it is a partnership between tenants and land owners. By deepening literature, the concept of al-musaqah is part of sharia agribusiness system that could be an alternative partnerships and farmer institution in meeting staple food needs. The alternative concept is very necessary since Indonesia has been facing the issue of agricultural land conversion and difficulty to form sustainable food agriculture area (SFAA). For the implementation of al-musaqoh, the Government should systematically form the SFAA on the state owned land, and estabilish its institution to manage SFAA in the central and regional level. Then, the SFAA management implement al-musaqoh partnership with farmer groups. By the concept, the Government would be able to control staple food procurement and distribution  to achieve food self-sufficiency which is profitable for farmers and non-farmers. However, the implementation is based on the view that the provision of basic needs should not be left to market mechanism

Pelatihan Pembuatan Pakan Fermentasi di Desa Muaradua Kabupaten Sukabumi

Muaradua Village is one of the villages in Kadudampit Subdistrict, Sukabumi District, with most of the people have their livelihoods on agriculture and livestock. The current problem in the livestock system in Muaradua Village was that there are still many breeders who only use weeds as animal feed. IPB students introduced an alternative forage to increase its shelf life as well as its nutrient content by developing fermented feed. The training, which was held in Kampung Legok Nyenang, Muaradua Village, started with dissemination, followed by practice of development of fermented feed (silage) and evaluation. There were 15 breeders and prospective breeders joined the training. Developed fermented rice straw has better quality than grass, seen from the unchanged leaf color, fermented cassava-like smell, very limited number of mushrooms and still clear and somewhat dry texture.
