New nonlinear coherent states and some of their nonclassical properties
We construct a displacement operator type nonlinear coherent state and
examine some of its properties. In particular it is shown that this nonlinear
coherent state exhibits nonclassical properties like squeezing and
sub-Poissonian behaviour.Comment: 3 eps figures. to appear in J.Opt
Phase properties of a new nonlinear coherent state
We study phase properties of a displacement operator type nonlinear coherent
state. In particular we evaluate the Pegg-Barnett phase distribution and
compare it with phase distributions associated with the Husimi Q function and
the Wigner function. We also study number- phase squeezing of this state.Comment: 8 eps figures. to appear in J.Opt
COMPUTATIONAL MOLECULAR MODELLING OF 2-AMINOBENZIMIDAZOLE DERIVATIVES: STRONG SUCCESSOR OF HYPOGLYCAEMIC AGENT
Objective: The present study was aimed to design different analogues of 2-aminobenzimidazole and find the binding ability by Insilico method.
Methods: Various soft wares like Chemsketch, Molinspiration, PASS, and Discovery studio were used to design the proposed derivatives. Evaluation of binding activity against different receptors was detected and checked their physicochemical properties for binding.
Results: In this study, we designed different analogs of 2-aminobenzimidazole into a ligand having a binding affinity with alpha-glucosidase, Dipeptidyl–peptidase 4(DPP4), Peroximase proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ), and Insulin-like growth factor 1(IGF-1) receptor. The designed ten derivatives showed a significant binding capacity to the concerned receptors.
Conclusion: These results pointed that the designed proposed derivatives promising hypoglycaemic activity
Vascular malformations: a hospital based study
Background: Vascular anomalies comprise a widely heterogeneous group of lesions. Diagnosis and management of these lesions present challenges to the surgeons, radiologists and histopathologists. Accurate classification of these lesions results in appropriate therapy. Aim of the study is to study the role of histopathology and histochemical stain in the diagnosis of vascular malformationMethods: The present study is a hospital based observational study on vascular malformations over a period of three years from 2016 to 2018 done in department of Pathology and Plastic Surgery at tertiary care centre, Visakhapatnam. Results: Out of 107 specimens of vascular anomalies received, 72 cases were vascular neoplasms, 35 were vascular malformations. Majority of the vascular malformations were seen in the cervicofacial region (43%) followed by extremities (37.1%). Most common malformation in the present study was arterio venous malformations (60%) followed by venous malformations (22.8%). Verhoeff’s VanGieson stain demonstrated discontinuity of internal elastic lamina in cases of arteriovenous malformation and helped in differentiating the lesions from capillary malformation and vascular tumors. Conclusions: Histopathology, special histochemical stains along with imaging features can be used to reduce diagnostic difficulties and in helping proper management of vascular malformations
