    Nonlocality without inequality for spin-s system

    We analyze Hardy's non-locality argument for two spin-s systems and show that earlier solution in this regard was restricted due to imposition of some conditions which have no role in the argument of non-locality. We provide a compact form of non-locality condition for two spin-s systems and extend it to n number of spin-s particles. We also apply more general kind of non-locality argument still without inequality, to higher spin system.Comment: 6 page

    As the increase of social networking, people started to share information through different kinds of social media. Sentiment Analysis, a Natural Language processing helps in finding the sentiment or opinion hidden within a text. Sentiment analysis is an approach to analyze data and retrieve sentiment that it embodies. Twitter sentiment analysis is an application of sentiment analysis on data from Twitter (tweets), in order to extract sentiments conveyed by the user. It is an important source of decision making and can be extracted, identified, evaluated from the online sentiments reviews. The main goal of the proposed framework is to connect on Twitter and search for the tweets that contain a particular keyword and then evaluate the polarity of the tweets as positive and negative. In order to select the best features Chi Square test is used and Na�ve Bayes classifier is used for training and testing the features and also evaluating the sentimental polarity.     Gate Coupling to Nanoscale Electronics

    The realization of single-molecule electronic devices, in which a nanometer-scale molecule is connected to macroscopic leads, requires the reproducible production of highly ordered nanoscale gaps in which a molecule of interest is electrostatically coupled to nearby gate electrodes. Understanding how the molecule-gate coupling depends on key parameters is crucial for the development of high-performance devices. Here we directly address this, presenting two- and three-dimensional finite-element electrostatic simulations of the electrode geometries formed using emerging fabrication techniques. We quantify the gate coupling intrinsic to these devices, exploring the roles of parameters believed to be relevant to such devices. These include the thickness and nature of the dielectric used, and the gate screening due to different device geometries. On the single-molecule (~1nm) scale, we find that device geometry plays a greater role in the gate coupling than the dielectric constant or the thickness of the insulator. Compared to the typical uniform nanogap electrode geometry envisioned, we find that non-uniform tapered electrodes yield a significant three orders of magnitude improvement in gate coupling. We also find that in the tapered geometry the polarizability of a molecular channel works to enhance the gate coupling

    DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF BILAYER MUCOAHESIVE GASTRORETENTIVE TABLET OF DILTIAZEM HYDROCHLORIDE

    Objective: The objective of present study was to formulate an oral mcoadhesive tablet of diltiazem hydrochloride. Methods: Investigate the effect of amount of HPMC K4M and sodium alginate on the sustained release and gastric residence time of dosage form. The mucoadhesive tablet prepared by direct compression method was used varying concentrations of HPMC K4M and Sodium alginate and (1:1, 1:1.5, 1:2) Drug and Polymer ratio. Results: The formulations were evaluated and results revealed that FTIR studies showed no evidence of interactions between drug and excipients used. The mucoadhesive strength, residence time and drug content of formulation F3 was found to be 26.35 ± 1.15 mg, >7.5hrs, and 98.75 ± 0.05 % respectively. The formulation F3 exhibited sustained drug release i.e. 75.71% in 12 h. The In Vitro release kinetics studies reveal that formulations fit well with zero order kinetics and mechanism of drug release is Super case II transport. Conclusion: The study was concluded that formulation of mucoadhesive tablets from the cumulative % drug release study reveals that increase in the concentration of adhesive polymers cause slow the drug release. Sustained release tablet of DTZ can be beneficial in treatment of hypertension

    Low dose intravenous infusion technique with ketamine

    Low dose ketamine is a relatively new technique. The recommended doses vary considerably. It was therefore decided to establish the minimum dose of ketamine required to produce satisfactory analgesia, sedation and amnesia in 50% of a population of adult volunteers. Twenty adult volunteers aged 20 to 42 years were the subjects of the study. Twenty minutes following intravenous (iv) pre-treatment with 0·3 mg of atropine and 0·2 mg/kg of diazepam each volunteer received a bolus of ketamine 1·0 mg/kg iv followed by ketamine iv infusion at the rate of either0·5 mg/kg/hour(10cases) or 1·0 mg/kg/hour (10 cases). The grade of sedation was determined on a scale of 1–5 and the frequency of amnesia was assessed using visual memory cards. Analgesia was determined by pin prick. Diazepam alone produced no analgesia and only moderate degree of sedation. Ketamine produced satisfactory analgesia to pin prick in both the groups. Ketamine bolus produced marked sedation for about 20 min followed by moderate sedation during iv infusion in both the groups. During the iv infusion of ketamine at arate of 0·5 mg/kg/hour the amnesic effects declined to 20% in 45 minutes, while during infusion of 10 mg/kg/hour the frequency reached a maximum at 50–60%. The minimum dose of ketamine required to produce amnesia in 50% of this population was therefore 1·0 mg/kg/hour after a bolus injection of 1·0 mg/kg given iv.Peer Reviewedhttp://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/75725/1/j.1365-2044.1980.tb03882.x.pd
