    Analisis Kelayakan Pengembangan Home Industry Kue Sari Cacalan Di Desa Tulikup Gianyar Bali

    Dalam analisis penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui  kelayakan home industry dari usaha Kue Sari cacalan dari aspek non-keuangan, dan aspek keuangan, dengan menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif deskriptif dimana menganalisis aspek-aspek yang meliputi: aspek operasional, aspek SDM, aspek pasar dan pemasaran. Selain Aspek diatas juga akan dianalisis aspek keuangan yang meliputi  Payback Period (PP), Net Present Value (NPV), Profitability Index (PI), Internal Rate of Return (IRR, untuk mengetahui layak atau tidak suatu usaha. Untuk strategi pengembangan menggunakan Matriks SWOT yang mereferensikan bahwa home industry kue Sari cacalan layak untuk dijalankan dari aspek non-finansial, dari segi hukum belum bisa dikatakan layak, karena belum memiliki legalitas surat izin usaha. Aspek keuangan usaha home industry kue Sari cacalan” ini dikatagorikan layak dijalankan karena sudah melibihi 3 tahun, dengan discount rate 12%. Dari Payback Period (PP) selama 3 tahun 16 hari, menghasilkan Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar Rp 23,343,276, Profitability Index (PI) 1,33, dan 26,29% dari Internal Rate of Return (IRR

    All this time in visual art in Bali a woman has often been placed as an object per se. Actually, in the visual work of women artists in Bali there is found an ideology that works behind it. This article reveals and describes the gender ideology that works behind the visual representation of Ni Nyoman Sani that is why a descriptive qualitative study is used by using postmodernism theory, visual semiotic theory, gender theory, ideology theory, and psychoanalysis theory to reveal the problem. This article concludes that the gender ideology works behind Ni Nyoman Sani’s work, that is, concerning the consumptivism of the gender role in its use. It is hoped that this discussion can give us a broader and deeper understanding of the gender ideology that works behind Ni Nyoman Sani’s creative process.     THE FAMILY DIVERSITY OF PSOCOPTERA AT NUSA PENIDA, KLUNGKUNG DISTRICT-BALI

    The purpose of the study was to identify diversity of the Psocoptera families collected from Nusa Penida. Samples were collected by beating method. Collected specimens were identified at the Laboratory of Animal Taxonomy, Department of Biology, Udayana University. The results showed that Psocoptera collected from Nusa Penida belongs to 5 families those were: Ectopsocidae, Pachytroctidae, Lepidopsocidae, Pseudocaeciliidae and Hemipsocidae. The genus of Lepidopsocus (Lepidopsocidae) was cosmopolitan, found in all sites: Batu Kandik, Puncak Mundi, Bunga Mekar and Ped.Keywords: insecta, Psocoptera, Nusa Penida.</p

    Research on reproduction patterns of Balinese snake skin fruits (Salak Bali) has been conducted by identifying the availability of pollens on anthers of male and hermaphrodite flowers, the viability of pollens in the pistillum and the present of embryo(s) in the ovulum. Flower samples were collected from Sibetan and Muncan Villages, Karangasem regency. Sample preparations and identifications were conducted in "Stuktur dan Perkembangan Tumbuhan Laboratory" Department of Bilogy, FMIPA Udayana University. The results showed that the pollen has a single apperture, unisulcus, minuta, oblat sferoidal type. The length of polar axis was 15-24 jam (P) and equatorial diameter of 16-24 |im (E). Therefore, the P/E index was 0.99-1.0. The pollen viability before and after anthesis of hermaphrodite flowers was low (71.4% and 50.6% respectively), with very low pollen tube germinations (0.08% of before and 0.48% after anthesis). Similarly, on the anthers of male flowers, the viability of pollens before anthesis was low (75.7%) with pollen germination of 0.18%, and event lower in after anthesis flowers (28.8%) with 0.29% pollen tube germination. Squashed stigma before and after anthesis and 2 days after flowers were opened showed that there was no germination occurred. Therefore, there was no germination in the pistillum, but the embryo developed before flower anthesis, indicates that the reproduction pattern of Salak Bali occurred without fertilizations (agamospermy)

    JENIS LEBAH TRIGONA (APIDAE: MELIPONINAE) PADA KETINGGIAN TEMPAT BERBEDA DI BALI

    The aim of this study was to determine the of trigona species (stingless bee) live in different altitude in Bali. Samples were collected using purposive sampling technique, following earlier field observations to determine the location of the colonies. Samples were collected from three different locations, those were at Mawang and Taro Village at Gianyar Regency with the altitude of 750,87 m asl. Tua Village in Tabanan Regency with the altitude of 493,007 m asl, and Ngis Village in Karangase Regency with the altitude of 166,18 m asl, Species identifications were based on the morphological characters of nest entrance, the coloration of the body, wing venations, and the structure of bristle of hind tibia. Species identification were referred to Michener (2007), Schwarz (1939), Sakagami (1979), Sakagami and Inoue (1985), and Rassmusen and Cameron (2010). The result shows that out of 13 colonies collected from different altitude, ony 1 species was identified that was Trigona laeviceps. Keywords: Altitude, nest entrance, morphology, Trigona laevicep

    PREFERENSI MAKAN KUMBANG KOKSI (Epilachna admirabilis) PADA BEBERAPA TANAMAN SAYURAN FAMILI SOLANACEAE

    Plant cultivation has been commonly practiced, particularly vegetable plants, such as eggplant, tomato and chili. However, many problems are persisted that is the pest attack. Epilachna admirabilis (Coleoptera) is one pest that commonly attack vegetable plants. Many techniques have been applied to avoid this pest, but the result has not been in satisfantion. This study aimed to investigate the feeding preference of E. admirabilis, hence, the timing of eradication of this pests will be understood. This study was conducted in the Ecology Laboratory, Department of Biology, Mathematic and Natural Science Faculty, Udayana University on three different vegetable leaves, namely: the leaves of eggplant, tomato and chili. The results showed that, based on the time of arrival and leaf consumed on each type of plant leaves, E. admirabilis chose the leaves of eggplant and tomato first compared to chili. Epilachna admirabilis tend to consume the leaves of eggplants compared to tomato, and there was no chili leaves has been consumed by this beetles.     UJI KEBERADAAN DAN KARAKTERISASI MIKROBA PELARUT FOSFAT PADA BERBAGAI MERK PUPUK ORGANIK

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keberadaan, mengetahui total mikroba dan karakterisasi mikroba pelarut fosfat pada berbagai merek pupuk organik. Keberadaan mikroba pelarut fosfat dicirikan dengan terbentuknya zona bening pada media pikovskaya, dengan rata-rata total mikroba pelarut fosfat terbanyak terdapat pada Pupuk Botani (Pubotan) Tanah Subur dengan total mikroba 99,93 x 105 (CFU/g pupuk) sedangkan yang paling sedikit terdapat pada Pupuk Organik Kompos (Limbah Sapi) dengan total mikrobanya yaitu 33 x 105 (CFU/g pupuk). Isolat bakteri pelarut fosfat yang ditemukan yaitu 7 isolat dengan 3 isolat bakteri tergolong genus Klebsiella dan 4 isolat bakteri tergolong genus Enterobacter. Sedangkan koloni cendawan pelarut fosfat yang ditemukan yaitu 5 koloni cendawan pelarut fosfat dengan 3 koloni tergolong Aspergillus niger dan 2 koloni tergolong Aspergillus flavus.</em

    Lebah tanpa sengat (Trigona spp.) dapat menghasilkan madu yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) morfologi Trigona spp., (2) struktur internal sarang Trigona spp. pada sarang berbentuk tabung dan bola, (3) volume sarang serta perkiraan produksi madu, beebread dan selanakan Trigona spp. pada sarang berbentuk tabung dan bola. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2014. Sampel yang digunakan adalah koloni dan sarang Trigona spp. berbentuk tabung dan bola yang diambil di Desa Padang Tunggal,Kecamatan Selat, Kabupaten Karangasem, Bali. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nama spesies dari sampel koloni Trigona spp. pada sarang berbentuk tabung dan bola adalah Trigona laeviceps. Struktur internal sarang Trigona spp. pada sarang berbentuk tabung dan bola mempunyai pola susunan yaitu pot madu, pot beebread dan pot sel anakan. Volume sarang besar memberikan perkiraan total jumlah produksi madu, beebread dan selanakan lebih banyak dibandingkan volume sarang kecil
