Performing artist and Athlete Health Monitor: User experience, content and conditions for use of an online dance-health surveillance system in a professional ballet company

Objectives The user experience, content and conditions for use of an online dance-health surveillance system (Performing artist and Athlete Health Monitor, PAHM) was examined through a focus group interview with professional ballet dancers. Methods Nine professional dancers (56% female (n=5), average age=27.56± 5.17) completed biweekly questionnaires using the PAHM, including questions on health problems, injuries, mental complaints and illnesses. After 6 weeks, nine dancers participated in a focus group interview to investigate the user experience, content and conditions for use of the PAHM. Data were analysed using thematic analysis. Results 25 of the 27 questionnaires were completed (response rate of 93%). Dancers were positive about using the PAHM. They recommend to clarifying the questions about pain and injury, expanding items on mental health, including items on workload, sleep, rest and nutrition, and receiving feedback regarding their own results. Production of singlet P-wave ccˉc \bar c and bbˉb \bar b states

No spin-singlet $b \bar b$ quarkonium state has yet been observed. In this paper we discuss the production of the singlet P-wave $b\bar{b}$ and $c\bar{c}$ $^1P_1$ states $h_b$ and $h_c$. We consider two possibilities. In the first the $^1P_1$ states are produced via the electromagnetic cascades \ups(3S) \to \eta_b(2S) + \gamma \to h_b + \gamma \gamma \to \eta_b +\gamma\gamma\gamma and $\psi'\to \eta_c' + \gamma \to h_c + \gamma \gamma \to \eta_c + \gamma\gamma\gamma$. A more promising process consists of single pion transition to the $^1P_1$ state followed by the radiative transition to the $1^1S_0$ state: \ups(3S)\to h_b + \pi^0 \to \eta_b + \pi^0 +\gamma and $\psi' \to h_c + \pi^0 \to \eta_c + \pi^0 +\gamma$. Geographic and temporal variation in the consumption of bats by European barn owls

Capsule We report a review of the occurrence of bats in the Barn Owl diet Tyto alba in Europe. Based on 802 studies reporting 4.02 million prey items identified in pellets, 4949 were bats (0.12%). We found that bat predation decreased during the last 150 years, is more frequent on islands than mainland, and is higher in eastern than western Europe and in southern than northern Europe.
