Properties of PEDOT:PEG/ZnO/p-Si heterojunction diode
The zinc oxide (ZnO) and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) bis-poly(ethyleneglycol) (PEDOT:PEG) films were deposited on p-Si substrate by sputter and spin coating methods, respectively. An organic/inorganic heterojunction diode having PEDOT:PEG/ZnO on p-Si substrate was fabricated. The barrier height (BH) and the ideality factor values for the device were found to be 0.82 ± 0.01 eV and 1.9 ± 0.01, respectively. It has been seen that the value of BH is significantly larger than those of conventional Au/p-Si metal–semiconductor contacts. The PEDOT:PEG/ZnO/p-Si heterostructure exhibits a non-ideal I–V behavior with the ideality factor greater than unity that could be ascribed to the interfacial layer, interface states and series resistance. The modified Norde\u27s function combined with conventional forward I–V method was used to extract the parameters including the barrier height and series resistance. At the same time, the physical properties of ZnO and PEDOT:PEG films deposited by sputter and spin coating technique, respectively, were investigated at room temperature. The obtained results indicate that the electrical parameters of the diode are affected by structural properties of ZnO film and PEDOT:PEG organic film
The Energy Eigenvalues of the Two Dimensional Hydrogen Atom in a Magnetic Field
In this paper, the energy eigenvalues of the two dimensional hydrogen atom
are presented for the arbitrary Larmor frequencies by using the asymptotic
iteration method. We first show the energy eigenvalues for the no magnetic
field case analytically, and then we obtain the energy eigenvalues for the
strong and weak magnetic field cases within an iterative approach for
and states for several different arbitrary Larmor frequencies. The
effect of the magnetic field on the energy eigenvalues is determined precisely.
The results are in excellent agreement with the findings of the other methods
and our method works for the cases where the others fail.Comment: 13 pages and 5 table
Identification of New Resistance Sources From Diploid Wild Strawberry Against Powdery Mildew Pathogen
Powdery mildew pathogen causes diseases in berries and resistance breeding is hampered by the lack of sufficient sources.
While control of fungal pathogens relies on chemical fungicides. In either case, a reliable source of resistance for breeding
purposes is imperative for efficient protection of the crop plants. A powdery mildew isolate designated GOU1 has been
identified as Podosphaera aphanis var. aphanis using light microscopy and sequencing the ITS region. Pathogenicity tests
on 3 diploid wild strawberry (Fragaria vesca L.) ecotypes with GOU1 revealed 3 distinctive interaction phenotypes;
enhanced susceptible (ecotype 1), intermediate susceptible (ecotype 2) and resistant (ecotype 3). In vitro staining methods
with diaminobenzidine and trypan blue showed massive mycelial web and conidiophore production on the susceptible
ecotype, but there was no mycelia and conidiophore production on the resistant ecotype 3. In the ecotype 3 conidiospore
penetration was associated with accumulation of hydrogen peroxide production on the host cells. These findings suggest that
these ecotypes could be explored as resistant gene sources to powdery mildew fungus

Query Extension Suggestions for Visual Query Systems Through Ontology Projection and Indexing
Ontology-based visual query formulation is a viable alternative to textual query editors in the Semantic Web domain for extracting data from structured data sources in terms of the skills and knowledge required. A visual query system is at any moment responsible for providing the user with query extension suggestions; however, suggestions leading to empty results are often not useful. To this end, in this article, we first present an approach for projecting OWL 2 ontologies into navigation graphs to be used for query formulation and then a solution where an efficient finite index is used to calculate non-ranked approximated extension suggestions for ontology-based visual query systems using navigation graphs. The results of our experiments suggest that one can efficiently project an ontology into a navigation graph, query it for running an interactive user interface, and suggest query extensions that do not lead to dead-ends
Two Electrons in a Quantum Dot: A Unified Approach

field have been revised within the frame of a novel model. The present
formalism, which gives closed algebraic solutions for the specific values of
magnetic field and spatial confinement length, enables us to see explicitly

The effects of exercise order on the psychophysiological responses, physical and technical performances of young soccer players: Combined small-sided games and high-intensity interval training
This study aimed to compare the order effects of combined small-sided games (SSGs) and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) on the psychophysiological responses and physical and technical performances of young soccer players. Twenty-four soccer players (aged 14.63 ± 0.71 years) were randomly divided into SSGs + HIIT (n = 12) and HIIT + SSGs (n = 12) for 6 weeks. The SSGs consisted of two 4–16 min rounds of 2, 3, and four-a-side games with 2 min of passive resting, whereas the HIIT consisted of 6–10 min of high-intensity runs at varying intensities (from 90 to 100%). Pre-test and post-test elements included a 5–30 m sprint test, countermovement jump test, zigzag agility test with the ball and without the ball, repeated sprint ability test, speed dribbling ability test, three-corner run test, and Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test level 1. Both combined training interventions produced similar improvements in physical performance and technical responses (p ? 0.05, d values ranging from 0.40 to 1.10). However, the combined HIIT + SSGs training produced meaningfully lower perceived exertion (p = 0.00, d = 2.98) and greater physical enjoyment (p = 0.00, d = 4.28) compared with the SSGs + HIIT intervention. Furthermore, the SSGs + HIIT group showed a higher training load than those from the HIIT + SSGs group for all weeks (p ? 0.05, d values ranging from 1.36 to 2.05). Impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on education: experiences and feelings reported by primary school pupils from Greece and Turkey
Covid 19 pandemic had a huge impact upon life and the educational experience of students. One of the groups mostly affected from this pandemic is the school children. The sudden transition to distance education from traditional face-to-face education undoubtedly changed the implementation methods of the teaching programme in schools. The research study reported in this paper was carried out in Greece and Turkey. Responses were collected from primary school pupils who voluntarily and anonymously completed an online questionnaire with multiple choice questions. The latter were carefully worded in an appropriate and understandable way, using language suitable for primary school aged children. Comparisons between the responses from the two countries revealed similarities and differences. Through a comparative approach the research results are particularly scruitinised through the lenses of equal opportunities and social exclusion policies along with a cross cultural perspective, which is expected to have a useful impact during the post pandemic era. By sharing the collective knowledge and experience gained, we aspire to propose educational strategies for well-being and recovery, and overall educational process improvement

Finding Data Should be Easier than Finding Oil
The competitiveness of modern enterprises heavily depends on their ability to make the right business decisions by relying on efficient and timely analysis of the right business critical data. In large and data intensive companies such as Equinor, a Norwegian multinational oil and gas company with more than 20,000 employees, gathering such data is not a trivial task due to the growing size and complexity of corporate information sources. As a result, the data gathering task is often the most time-consuming part of the decision making process, in particular when it comes to the work processes of Equinor's exploration geologists that should find in a timely manner new exploitable accumulations of oil or gas in given areas by analysing data about these areas. In this work we present our experience in addressing this data challenge tast at Equinor. We have developed and deployed at Equinor a semantic data access system that relies on the Ontology Based Data Access (OBDA) approach. Our system is based on our solid theoretical contributions and has been extensively evaluated at Equinor
