This is a project book documenting the processes involved in the making of Seeing Thunder. Seeing Thunder is a documentary that threads on the hidden conundrums in the deaf world. Within the deaf and the hearing world is a fine line – so what’s it like to live within as an in-betweener? This immersive film follows two individuals as they unpack stigma and perspective, forging their own identities, diversity and equality. Essentially, redefining the perception of sound through vibrations, movements, and facial expressions – Sounds which can be interpreted and anything but heard just like when seeing thunder.Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Ar

    No full text
Founded upon the scapes of memory, the voice of a dead girl named Ocean paints over an experimental-narrative film. Sorry experiences from childhood served up on a plate, screamed at with a soundless shrill, powered by her brother Charlie’s contemplation as he perches at the beach, where her body laid. An elbow at the dysfunction of a family and its influence on a child’s comprehension of relationships.   This paper charts the process of producing Ocean, It's creative trials and considerations, our reflections and the individual papers of the members who took this project up as their primary roles.Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Filmmakin
