Through the lens of seeing thunder

This report aims to document and summarise my key learning processes and research as a cinematographer for the film – Seeing Thunder. It will highlight the different aspects of collaboration with my team members from pre-production till post-production, and how we eventually arrive at the final mood and tone of this documentary. Seeing thunder: the project book

This is a project book documenting the processes involved in the making of Seeing Thunder. Seeing Thunder is a documentary that threads on the hidden conundrums in the deaf world. Within the deaf and the hearing world is a fine line – so what’s it like to live within as an in-betweener? This immersive film follows two individuals as they unpack stigma and perspective, forging their own identities, diversity and equality. Ocean the short film – a project book

Founded upon the scapes of memory, the voice of a dead girl named Ocean paints over an experimental-narrative film. Sorry experiences from childhood served up on a plate, screamed at with a soundless shrill, powered by her brother Charlie’s contemplation as he perches at the beach, where her body laid.
