This paper presents a theoretical vision of the authors on the context in which individual competences operate and develop, as well as competence at the organizational level. The concept is based on the logic of economic and social life, on the study of bibliography and on previous researches made by the authors. The model is designed, in this case, on the example of an organization from the tourism industryorganizational competence, processes system, roles and jobs, talent management, tourism company.

Communication Improvement within the Education Process and Emotional Intelligence Development

Both the authors’ previous experience and the devoted literature highlight the particular role of teacher-student communication for the quality of graduates’ professional development and education. The research presented herein is based on a sociological survey conducted in a large university from north-west Romania, on more than 600 Economics Master’s students. The chief goal of our research is to determine efficient ways to improve the student training provided by the master programmes in Economics, by means of a better stimulation on the part of the teachers, a more efficient teacher – student communication, a better quality of the teaching materials employed and a greater relevance of the educational content for the particular area of specialisation pursued. After an initial review of the material resulted from the sociological survey, we continued to analyse the results in relation to the tiers of the communication process, the role of groups in the learning process and of the education process in the development of emotional intelligence.Within the current phase of our study, the underlying hypotheses are:(1) The training of Economics and Business Administration students provides them with opportunities of professional specialisation, while developing skills and abilities useful in everyday life.(2) The students’ training in Economics also entails an implicit educational process, which supports the development of their emotional intelligence.(3) Multiculturalism bears manifold benefits, both in terms of specialist professional training and on graduates’ attitudes and behaviour in the social life. This study allowed us to validate the hypotheses and to draw some interesting conclusions for the education of students enrolled in the university surveyed

    Cioran and Gnosticism

    Get PDF
This study presents Cioran"™s relation with Gnosticism that is marked by the fragmentary and contradictory style of Romanian thinker. This is caused by the specific ambivalence signaled by the Romanian essayist, ambivalence that is affirmed by the vitalist standpoint, and negated by the nihilist standpoint. The theoretical contradiction is a repercussion of Cioran"™s way of approaching to the essence of life marked by the irrational and to the knowledge that is both, at the same time, a privilege and a hex. Therefore, from the nihilist point of view, that of an apologist of decomposition and desperation, Cioran can rightfully be associated with Gnosticism. On the other hand, many of his ideas describe, at the same time, an Agnostic outline. From the vitalist and fervent point of view, Cioran is represented as a strong enemy of gnosis. When he defames existence and history, he can be considered a Gnostic, and when we take into account the fervor for our world delusion and appearances, he is situated at the opposite pole of Gnosticism. Keywords: Cioran, Gnosticism, creation, demigod, knowledge, nihilism

The Role of Communication in Managerial Education from University. Comparative Study

    Get PDF
AbstractThe communication process and its importance to organization and to managerial activity is a particular concern for the author of this work, concern embodied in research carried out by a long period of time. A questionnaire designed this year has been applied in two universities from Transylvania (Romania) in order to capture the perception of Business Administration master students on the quality of communication in their training. The study on the first of the two universities (UN) highlighted distinctive issues between teacher-student communication at different specializations (finance, accounting, management). Analysis of the responses to questionnaires applied to management specialization within the second university (UM), allowed us a comparison regarding the perceptions of students – future managers – in the two cases. The objective of the current study is to use the findings of this comparison in establishing ways to improve communication in the education process, for the development of Management master students in the investigated faculties

The Role of Emotional Intelligence in Labour Market Orientation and Career Development

    Get PDF
Our study is part of an ample research project on the students of a University of the Central West part of Romania. For this particular paper, our aim was to underline the correlation between the level of school training and a series of skills of the young people who took part in the study (such as labour market orientation, interaction with the managers of the employer company and with the company owner, in order to find an advantageous job, to undergo advanced training and to develop their career), meaning the connection between the global intelligence (useful for the school training) and the emotional intelligence. We took into consideration the research in the specialised literature and our previous studies as well as an analysis based on a sociological survey. The survey was conducted on a sample of 518 students, most of them in their second year of Master Degree studies. The questionnaire that contained 38 questions was conceived by the authors, the data was processed with an SPSS software and the results obtained are presented in tables and explained throughout the paper. The conclusions consist of the authors’ considerations regarding the existent connection (in the presented case) between the general, global intelligence of the subjects, manifested through their school results and their emotional intelligence, as well as a portrait of the representative person for the studied community

Hyperstructures in Chemical Hyperstructures of Redox Reactions with Three and Four Oxidation States

    Get PDF
Hyperstructures find numerous applications across various disciplines. One notable application is in chemistry, particularly in the context of chemical reactions. In 2014, Davvaz introduced the concept of bi-hyperstructures, but their application specifically in chemical reactions, has yet to be thoroughly explored in previous studies. Thus, the primary aim of this paper is to examine and analyze the different types of bi-hyperstructures present within chemical hyperstructures. The scope of this study focuses on two types of chemical hyperstructures: redox reactions and reactions in electrochemical cells. Within these chemical hyperstructures, we investigate the possibility of bi-hyperstructures among bi-semihypergroups, bi-hypergroups, bi-H_v-semigroups, and bi-H_v-groups. Next, some properties of bi-hyperstructures related to hyperstructures are also investigate

Removal of turbidity and organic load from surface water by coagulation-flotation

The aim of this study is to monitor comparatively and operationally two drinking water treatment flows, a new based on flotation unit using prehydrolyzed aluminium coagulation agent in comparison with settling based on the conventional technological flow using aluminium sulphate coagulation agent. The new proposed and introduced flow exhibited greater drinking water treatment performance under the conditions of raw surface water characterized by low and medium loading in terms of turbidity and organic load. The new proposed technological flow allowed that all studied parameters characteristics to the drinking water for treated water to meet the requirements imposed by the legislative norms
