Solution of fractional Drinfeld-Sokolov-Wilson equation using Homotopy perturbation transform method

    Get PDF
In this article, the approximate solutions of the non-linear Drinfeld-Sokolov-Wilson equation with fractional time derivative have been obtained. The fractional derivative is described in the Caputo sense. He’s polynomial is used to tackle the nonlinearity which arise in our considered problems. A time fractional nonlinear partial differential equation has been computed numerically. The numerical procedures illustrate the effectiveness and reliability of the method. Effects of fractional order time derivatives on the solutions for different particular cases are presented through graphs

A Study of the Awareness of Wearable Medical Devices in India: A Potential Market Perspective

    Get PDF
A Medical Wearable Device provides vital sign monitoring. Therefore, it involves monitoring of one or more of the following or any other physiological vital that has application in fitness monitoring and medical diagnostic such as; blood glucose level; blood pressure; pulse rate; electrocardiograph (ECG) patterns; respiration rate; respiration effectiveness (e.g., blood oxygen saturation). Hence the Medical Wearable Devices are extremely useful precautionary gadgets. A number of such devices are available in market these days. Despite of their usefulness they are not very popular in India. This may be due to low level of awareness. As Metropolitan cities is primary market for such gadgets. This paper focuses on the awareness level of the medical wearable devices in Delhi-NCR and studies awareness with respect to suitable demographics. Further, this paper identifies the key parameters in role of the education, qualification and purchase power parity for adoption of this device. The insights drawn from the vast health literature helps to develop the behavioral conceptual framework which becomes the basis to gather the primary data

Preparation of anhydrous magnesium chloride by dehydration from hydrated magnesium chloride is not straight forward after dihydrate stage due to hydrolysis. Magnesium oxide and oxy-chloride contaminate the final product in uncertain amounts

Effect of X-rays on the somatic chromosomes of the exotic fish, Tilapia mossambica

    Get PDF
Male and female T. mossambica were x-rayed with 100 r and the meta-phase chromosome aberrations in their gill epithelia were studied at 13 different intervals against suitable control. The chromosomes of males appeared more radiosensitive than those of females. Among the diploid complement of 44 chromosomes, the individual type aberrations were non-random in both sexes. The longest pair of chromosomes, taken as the marker pair, was found very highly radio-sensitive, while the remaining 21 pairs as non-markers were somewhat resistant to x-radiation when the observed and the expected numbers were subjected to statistical analysis. The break in the marker chromosome was also non-randomly distributed as the distal half had a significantly large number of breaks

Enriching Academia-Corporate Loop (ACL)—A Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative

    Get PDF
Corporate sector utilises societal resources. It is thus the duty of corporate sector to give back to the society in any form, which we know as corporate social responsibility. When we talk in this context, we generally take into account activities like educating the poor, helping old age homes, going green, reducing waste, sponsoring sports activities, giving donations etc. The problem of not getting employable manpower is a major issue of concern among the corporates. In this paper we propose a new dimension to corporate social responsibility—“Enhancing employability”. By this the Academia-Corporate Loop (ACL) can be enriched. In our study we conduct a schedule amongst white collar employees of organizations in Delhi/NCR and record their responses. On this basis, we check the acceptability of this concept in corporates’ mind and propose an action plan to bridge this gap statistically
