Bundan dolayı rezonans enerjisinin A'ya bağlılığı zayıftır. In this study ? -soft nuclei even-even of the Random Phase Apparanimation, the method from electric and magnetic dipole excitations scissors mode, spin-excitation and collective excitations standard analysis were investigated. Resonance energy of scissors mode was known almost to be 3 MeV. Therefore, the study of the properties of 1+ and 1- cases were investigated in the range of 2-4 MeV. According to the results of calculations with the orbicular properties of nucleus (while N=82) B(M1) K=0, K=1 and B(E1) K=0 have no effect of branches from the far less visible, but the contribution to the field of B(E1) K=1 as was seen. Electric dipole excitations was not affected from the orbicular symmetry, strength parameters varied depending on the exchange. Ce isotope which for A>140, greatest of all levels of the isotopes was characterized by the orbital B(M1) strength orbit/spin contribution was constructive. Resonance energy dependence of A was as a general in the correct manner for the Ba and Ce isotopes. Observed experimentally deformed nuclei scissors mode was a good total B (M1) strength parameters of the deformation was linear with the square of the transition, theoretical QRPA exactly as shown. These results were in aggrement with our calculations

This study aims to determine the marketing communication strategy used by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Rote Ndao Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province to increase domestic and foreign tourist visits. This study uses the theory of marketing communication strategy, where there are 5 marketing mixes to promote a tourism object. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. This research was conducted at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Rote Ndao Regency. The results obtained are firstly that the Department of Culture and Tourism of Rote Ndao Regency has developed a marketing communication strategy to increase the number of tourist visits to Rote Ndao Regency. The marketing communication strategy includes the marketing mix. The 5 marketing mixes used are Advertising, Events, Public Relations, Personal Selling (Personal Selling) and Word of Mouth. Secondly, the communication strategy adopted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is influenced by two factors, namely, supporting factors affecting the tourism potential of Rote Ndao District and the development of information and communication technology. In addition, the inhibiting factors are the community's lack of awareness of tourism, lack of funds and infrastructure, and damaged land transport routes. Researchers have also made several suggestions to the Department of Culture and Tourism of Regency Rote Ndao, namely maximizing the use of various marketing media to market the potential in Regency Rote Ndao, also maximizing the management of tourist properties, and maximizing the performance of tourism awareness groups previously were carried out

    Educational Cosmic Ray Arrays

Abstract. In the last decade a great deal of interest has arisen in using sparse arrays of cosmic ray detectors located at schools as a means of doing both outreach and physics research. This approach has the unique advantage of involving grade school students in an actual ongoing experiment, rather then a simple teaching exercise, while at the same time providing researchers with the basic infrastructure for installation of cosmic ray detectors. A survey is made of projects in North America and Europe and in particular the ALTA experiment at the University of Alberta which was the first experiment operating under this paradigm

Historic Changes (1941–2008) In Side Channel And Backwater Habitats On An Unchannelized Reach Of The Missouri River

    Get PDF
Flow regulation has had pervasive effects on aquatic ecosystems within the world’s large rivers. While channelization on the lower Missouri River has led to major changes in the river and its floodplain, including the loss of shallow water habitats, effects of upstream dams on unchannelized reaches on the Missouri have not been formally assessed. We quantified changes in the number and size of off-channel habitats, specifically backwaters and side channels, on the 95-km unchannelized reach of the Missouri below Gavins Point Dam (Yankton, South Dakota) using historical (1941, 1983–1985, 2008) aerial imagery. Total and mean areas of side channels declined by 77% and 37% and total and mean length decreased by 79% and 42% from 1941 to 2008. Total area of backwaters increased by 40% from 1941 to 2008, whereas mean area decreased by 36%. Our findings suggest that sharp declines in the area and length of side channels have occurred on this unchannelized remnant reach of the Missouri River, with likely significant impacts on aquatic ecosystem processes

An Assessment of Institutional Relocation: Qualitative Perceptions and Resident Outcomes

Relocation among older adults, either from their home to a long term care (LTC) facility or between facilities, has been studied since the early 1960s. The earliest studies focused on resident mortality while more recent papers have included other outcomes such as functional ability, depression, behavioral symptoms and general health and well-being. Castle reviewed 78 studies measuring the impact of relocation. The vast majority of studies found no significant positive or negative effects of relocation. However, these studies were limited by sample size, equivocal time frames for outcome measurements and the lack of control groups.(1). Although the topic has clear relevance to Canadian LTC and complex continuing care (CCC) facilities, the Canadian literature is sparse.(2-4) St. Joseph’s Hospital and Home has been providing care for the people of Guelph since 1861. Planning began for a new building in 1994 and at that time, the decision was made to change the focus of the services provided. The acute care portion of the staff and services were divested in 2001 to the Guelph General Hospital. In October 2002, residents, staff and volunteers moved into the new facility located on the existing property. The new 254-bed facility, known as St. Joseph’s Health Centre (SJHC), includes LTC, complex continuing care and rehabilitation inpatient services as well as several outpatient programs. The current study attempted to broaden the understanding of relocation from the perspectives of residents, families and staff at SJHC. Several characteristics of this project made it unique. For example, it took place within a Canadian context, used both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods, included families and staff and included questions to elicit a set of recommendations for other facilities preparing for a similar move
