Rearrangement of cluster structure during fission processes
Results of molecular dynamics simulations of fission reactions and are presented. Dependence
of the fission barriers on isomer structure of the parent cluster is analyzed.
It is demonstrated that the energy necessary for removing homothetic groups of
atoms from the parent cluster is largely independent of the isomer form of the
parent cluster. Importance of rearrangement of the cluster structure during the
fission process is elucidated. This rearrangement may include transition to
another isomer state of the parent cluster before actual separation of the
daughter fragments begins and/or forming a "neck" between the separating
fragments
Tc-Mapping and Investigation of Water-Initiated Modification of YBa2Cu3O7-x Thin Films by Low Temperature Scanning Electron Microscopy
The Tc -mapping method using low temperature scanning electron microscopy (LTSEM) has been developed to study the spatial distribution of the critical temperature in high temperature superconducting (HTSC) films with a spatial resolution approaching 2 μm. To achieve so high a spatial resolution, a numerical deconvolution method was applied that eliminated distorting effects associated with the thermal diffusion and with the contribution from the absorbed beam current. The Tc -mapping method was used to investigate modification by water of YBa2Cu3O7-x films grown on (100) MgO and (110) LaAIO3 substrates. The rate of modification of a [110]-oriented YBa2Cu3O7-x/LaAIO3 film is found to be 40 times that of a c-axis oriented YBa2Cu3O7-x/MgO epitaxial film. It is argued that water-initiated modification of the films results from penetration of hydrogen into the films, rather than from out-diffusion of oxygen
Сlinical and epidemiological features of rotavirus infections in infants
Objective: to study the clinical and epidemiological characteristics, the nature of the course and outcomes of the disease in children with rotavirus mono- and mixed viral - bacterial lesions of the gastrointestinal tract.Materials and methods: in this work the results of clinical observations of 143 patients with rotavirus infection before the age of 1 year. At the same time 69 children were diagnosed with rotavirus gastroenteritis, while 74 people. there has been a combination of rotavirus with the pathogenic microflora.Results and conclusion: The clinical picture of combined forms of rotavirus infection differed for signs of defeat all parts of the gastrointestinal tract, inflammatory changes in the blood and coprogram. Combined damage to the intestinal mucosa and the associated inflammation conditioned a «non-smooth» during the acute period of the disease, which significantly increased the duration of treatment and hospital stay
Boolean Dynamics with Random Couplings
This paper reviews a class of generic dissipative dynamical systems called
N-K models. In these models, the dynamics of N elements, defined as Boolean
variables, develop step by step, clocked by a discrete time variable. Each of
the N Boolean elements at a given time is given a value which depends upon K
elements in the previous time step.
We review the work of many authors on the behavior of the models, looking
particularly at the structure and lengths of their cycles, the sizes of their
basins of attraction, and the flow of information through the systems. In the
limit of infinite N, there is a phase transition between a chaotic and an
ordered phase, with a critical phase in between.
We argue that the behavior of this system depends significantly on the
topology of the network connections. If the elements are placed upon a lattice
with dimension d, the system shows correlations related to the standard
percolation or directed percolation phase transition on such a lattice. On the
other hand, a very different behavior is seen in the Kauffman net in which all
spins are equally likely to be coupled to a given spin. In this situation,
coupling loops are mostly suppressed, and the behavior of the system is much
more like that of a mean field theory.
We also describe possible applications of the models to, for example, genetic
networks, cell differentiation, evolution, democracy in social systems and

Профилактика патологических синдромов и постморбидная реабилитация больных тяжелой хирургической инфекцией на основе индекса развития осложнений
Purpose of the study: working out an easy-to-use complication development index (CDI), designing a program for post morbidity rehabilitation of patients with surgical infection to improve the results of its treatment and reduce lethality.Materials and methods. A retrospective results analysis of treatment of 320 patients for purulent peritonitis and abdominal sepsis was carried out, including 268 patients (the comparison group) and 52 (the core group) with whom the complications development index was calculated. While studying this group of patients, the same protocol was used to prevent and treat complications on the basis of a complex individual program. In the comparison group, the patients were divided according to the severity of their condition in compliance with generally accepted clinical criteria: medium-heavy (98), severe (86) and extremely severe (84 patients, respectively).We have studied general clinical and biochemical indices, as well as the results of instrumental studies of the function of vital organs and body systems. The following indices were calculated: the prothrombin index; the integral index of thromboelastography (IIT), J = [R (min) × K (min)] : mA (mm), where R is the clotting time, K is the clot formation time, mA is the clot density); the general condition severity APACHE II (Acute physiology and chronic health evaluation); the degree of organ dysfunction SOFA (Sepsis organ failure assessment); leukocyte index of intoxication (LII). The PIRO concept (predisposition, infection, response, organ dysfunction) was used for clinical interpretation of the received research results.Results. The prediction index of complications of surgical infection was proposed. It is based on the results of clinical analysis the results of patient treatment and calculated by using the severity of the underlying pathological process, as well as the number of concomitant diseases, pathological syndromes and aggravating factors. As a result of the complication development prediction index use along with the implementation of the complex program for prevention and treatment of complications, the number went down from 50% to 90% in different groups under observation.Цель исследования. Разработка простого в использовании индекса развития осложнений (ИРО), программы постморбидной реабилитации больных хирургической инфекцией для улучшения результатов ее лечения и снижения летальности.Материалы и методы. Проведен ретроспективный анализ результатов лечения 320 пациентов с гнойным перитонитом и абдоминальным сепсисом, у 52 (группа сравнения) из них расcчитывали индекс развития осложнений, разработанный в клинике. При ведении этих пациентов применяли одинаковый протокол профилактики и лечения осложнений на основе комплексной индивидуальной программы. Больных распределили по тяжести состояния: среднетяжелое (n = 115), тяжелое (n = 113) и крайне тяжелое течение (n = 92) с учетом общепринятых в клинике критериев. Исследовали общеклинические и биохимические показатели. Осуществляли подсчет индексов: интегрального индекса тромбоэластографии (ИИТ) J = [R (мин) × К (мин)]: mA (мм), где R – время свертывания крови, К – время образования сгустка, mA – плотность сгустка), учитывались результаты инструментальных исследований функции жизненно важных органов и систем организма в режиме мониторинга. Проводили подсчет индексов тяжести общего состояния Аcute physiology and chronic health evaluation (APACHE II) и шкалы для оценки степени органной дисфункции Sepsis organ failure assessment (SOFA), а также лейкоцитарного индекса интоксикации (ЛИИ). Для клинической характеристики наблюдений и полученных результатов исследований опирались на концепцию PIRO (predisposition – предрасположенность, infection – инфекция, response – реакция, оrgan dysfunction – органная дисфункция).Результаты. На основе клинического анализа результатов лечения больных предложен индекс развития осложнений хирургической инфекции (ИРО), рассчитываемый по степени тяжести основного патологического процесса, а также количеству сопутствующих заболеваний, патологических синдромов и отягощающих факторов. В результате применения индекса прогноза, комплексной программы профилактики и лечения осложнений в группе сравнения количество осложнений снизилось с 90 до 50% (в 1,8 раза)

При этом у 69 детей был диагностирован ротавирусный гастроэнтерит, а у 74 человек имело место сочетание ротавируса с представителями условно-патогенной микрофлоры.Результаты и обсуждение: клиническая картина сочетанных форм ротавирусной инфекции отличалась наличием признаков поражения всех отделов желудочно-кишечного тракта, воспалительными изменениями в анализе крови и копрограмме. Сочетанное повреждение слизистой кишечника и ассоциированное с ним воспаление обусловливали «негладкое» течение острого периода заболевания, что достоверно увеличивало продолжительность терапии и время пребывания в стационаре
