Intra-arterial injection of acrylic cement as a complication of percutaneous vertebroplasty

Percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) with polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) is a minimally invasive procedure that provides significant pain relief in a high percentage of patients with osteoporotic fractures.
