    The Impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on E-commerce and Customer Spending Pattern in South Korea – e-Market Trends, Forecasts and Statistics

    Coronavirus (COVID-19) has caused a lot of disarray in all sectors across the world. Businesses have been significantly affected by the spread of the virus. Manufacturing, tours and travel, education, among other have been profoundly affected. A lot of strain has been exerted on most multinational operations. The pandemic has impacted retail trading. The need for e-trading and e-commerce has significantly increased because they promote distribution of products with minimal contact between the sellers and the buyers. This paper looks at how international trade has been impacted through addressing methods that have been employed to ensure that countries such as China and South Korea have managed to carry out their manufacturing processes and exportation. The paper explores the available literature regarding the purchasing behavior of prospective customers during the COVID-19 period. Data has been collected in different parts of the world to get facts about the impact of the pandemic. Market trends and future statistics forecasts have been provided.     Brucella canis infection can be clinically inapparent in dogs, and when infection goes unnoticed, there is a chance for dog-to-human transmission. A new strain of B. canis was isolated from the blood of an infected dog in order to analyze the pathogenic mechanism, compare genetic properties, and develop new genetic tools for early diagnosis of canine brucellosis. Herein, we report the complete genome sequence of the strain B. canis HSK A52141. This is the second complete genome sequence and biological annotation available for a member of B. canis.open2

    Crystalline nephropathy is a rare yet well-known condition associated with multiple myeloma and other light chain–secreting disorders. Paraproteins that are resistant to proteolysis crystallize within proximal tubular cells and cause light-chain proximal tubulopathy, which presents clinically as Fanconi syndrome. Podocytes are rarely affected, and the crystalline inclusions within podocytes are typically precipitated, yielding significant glomerular proteinuria. Here we report a case of extensive crystalline inclusions primarily within podocytes and proximal tubules that presented only with Fanconi syndrome and renal insufficiency. Despite the presence of extensive crystalline inclusions in podocytes and diffuse foot process effacement, the patient had no clinical evidence suggestive of podocyte injury

    Evaluation of the Variability of the ORF34, ORF68, and MLST Genes in EHV-1 from South Korea

    Equine herpesvirus-1 (EHV-1) is an important pathogen in horses. It affects horses worldwide and causes substantial economic losses. In this study, for the first time, we characterized EHV-1 isolates from South Korea at the molecular level. We then aimed to determine the genetic divergences of these isolates by comparing them to sequences in databases. In total, 338 horse samples were collected, and 12 EHV-1 were isolated. We performed ORF30, ORF33, ORF68, and ORF34 genetic analysis and carried out multi-locus sequence typing (MLST) of 12 isolated EHV-1. All isolated viruses were confirmed as non-neuropathogenic type, showing N752 of ORF30 and highly conserved ORF33 (99.7–100%). Isolates were unclassified using ORF68 analysis because of a 118 bp deletion in nucleotide sequence 701–818. Seven EHV-1 isolates (16Q4, 19R166-1, 19R166-6, 19/10/15-2, 19/10/15-4, 19/10/18-2, 19/10/22-1) belonged to group 1, clade 10, based on ORF34 and MLST analysis.
