Transition metal complexes of group 13 and heavy group 15 elements based on the acenaphthene framework

This Ph.D. thesis presents the preparation and characterization of transition metal complexes of ligands with group 13 and heavy group 15 elements based on the acenaphthene framework. In this context, consideration was given in particular to compounds with a boron, gallium, indium, antimony and bismuth center. Since some of these ligands tended to react with the used transition metals of groups 9, 10 and 11 via transmetalation reaction to the corresponding peri-substituted diphenylphosphine acenaphthyl transition metal compounds, characterizations of these have been carried out as well
