Economic efficiency within enterprises is represented by how maintenance and repair activities are organised and operated, the under repairing equipment’s immobilization time because, by diminishing this factor significant reserve resources can be achieved by increasing production volume. The management activity shall be responsible to organise cars’ and equipments’ maintenance and repair activities, to apply rules of organisational structure and human resources, established and approved in the company’s organisational chart, measures to improve the information system and relationships between departments and sectors, to improve tracking system and movement of documents and to permanently expand data processing sector. Predictive maintenance is based on monitoring wearing parameters of the key elements or subparts of the fixed assets, by some specific instruments (wearing, vibration, oil analysers) in order for the maintenance interventions to be accomplished before the flaw appears.maintenance, repairing, predictive maintenance, reduced cost

ASPECTS REGARDING THE SUPPLIERS’ EVALUATION OF A COMPANY THAT MAKES BEARINGS

    Get PDF
In the supply of materials and technical equipment, a special importance is given to the decision of selecting supply sources and suppliers. Choosing the supplier has become a real “art”; the action is based on the prior study of main data and information which can characterise each supplier. Based on the collected data and information, a comparative evaluation is provided, which classifies each supplier according to a percentage (or a grading scale) assigned based on the importance of the established classification criteria. The suppliers’ evaluation and selection time is essential because the market where the material activities will run is practically now being established. This selection activity thus involves the existence of certain specific analysis criteria on which to obtain a correct evaluation of each supplier. The purchasing strategy is followed by the tactical selection of the selling companies. The suppliers’ selection involves a preliminary process of identification of potential candidates. The paper analyses how certain suppliers’ evaluation of a company that makes bearings is being practiced (the space did not allow for an analysis of all suppliers, but the procedure is identical for each supplier separately), and in the end, the resulting conclusions are mentioned.evaluation, suppliers, bearings

THE ANALYSIS OF THE CFR TRAVELERS SA ACTIVITY FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF EFFICIENCY INDICATORS

    Get PDF
The purpose of the paper is to make an analysis of the transport activity at CFR travellers SA based on the evolution of the main efficiency indicators in this field. The purpose of the analysis is to accurately determine the advantages and disadvantages of this activity and to find ways to improve it. We have chosen this activity because it has dropped in intensity during the last years and also because its quality is lacking in Romania. The analyzed period is 2007-2009 and graphics have been made to see the indicators’ evolution and to allow the activity’s assessment. The European Union encourages railway transport because of its advantages and because it is probably the most environmentally friendly and it is one way to achieve sustainable transport.indicators; efficiency; passenger; railway transport

European Union on the international stage

The EU is facing crucial external challenges for its present and future stability, security and prosperity. The instability in the Middle East, terrorism, the global warming and environmental change issue, the world’s growing economic globalization and its outsiders, or the political and economical competition with the Chinese and Indian giants leading to increasingly rival partnerships must be properly understood and assessed in the full extend of their implications and consequences, and addressed by appropriate policies. But the future of EU’s role as an international actor is also being decisively shaped today by the challenges the EU faces from its Eastern neighborhood which are likely to have fundamental long term economical and political consequences on the EU. These challenges directly influence EU’s stability, security and prosperity and ability to be an international actor capable of identifying its interests, and successfully pursuing or protecting them. Keywords: foreign, relations, enlargement, world, actor.

Aspects of the tourism market development within the European rural space

    Get PDF
The paper makes an analysis of rural tourism market development with the presentation of the main players in the European rural tourism. The methodology used is based on the synthesis of information from articles and studies published in specialty journals, in Government documents as well as in other development strategies on tourism and rural space. The results of this scientific research study reconfirm that rural tourism promotion and development are based on the existing tourism potential and also on the involvement of governmental and non governmental institutions

Rural and historical tourism in Dobrogea

    Get PDF
By its geographical location, the rural area from Dobrudgea has a diversified tourism potential, provided by the contrasting natural environmental factors, ranging from the oldest to the youngest relief units, natural protected areas, balneary resources and cultural, historical, religious sites, as well as multicultural local customs and traditions of the rural area. This potential can be used under various forms in the rural area: cultural tourism, historical tourism, religious tourism, ecotourism, fishing tourism or bird-watching tourism, as well as other kinds of rural tourism. By linking these tourism resources and tourism forms, tourism routes can result, which, together with the local customs, traditions and cuisine may contribute to the social and economic development of Dobrudgea’s rural area, through sustainable tourism as an alternative to seasonal seashore tourism

Rural tourism and territorial development in Romania

    Get PDF
Rural tourism in Romania has significant potential. The Romanian effort to develop and promote tourism in the rural area has been completed by the support provided by the European Union funds. In this context, the objective of this paper is to highlight the territorial development of the rural tourism market after the Romania's accession to the European Union. The methodology used is based on the synthesis of information from articles and studies published in specialty journals, in Government documents as well as in other development strategies on tourism and rural space. The results reconfirm that the supply of tourist accommodation in rural areas has shown a general upward trend, despite a slight decline during the global financial crisis, and the investments in rural tourism activity have a great advantage, i.e. job creation and maintaining the local (rural) labour, revitalization of rural localities, mainly those from the less-favoured and remote rural areas

Sustainable rural development through tourism activities in Dobrugdea's rural area

    Get PDF
The sustainable rural development of the Dobrudgean rural area requires reaching a balance between the need to preserve the rural economic, ecological and cultural space and the tendency to modernize the rural economic activity and life. The pleading for the promotion of tourism activities in the Dobrudgean rural area starts from the need for rural economical diversification. In general, no rural development program can be conceived in the absence of an essential role played by agriculture. The rural economy is more developed and more dynamic if it has a more diverse structure, and if the share of non-agricultural economy is higher. In this context, the paper presents the tourism potential of the rural localities from Dobrudgea and the development of a viable network of private small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism sector. The volume of information in this paper resulted from the investigation of relationships that exist between the environmental and social factors at local level, making it possible to define the necessary mechanisms for the sustainable development of tourism activities

Bio-Interfaces Engineering Using Laser-Based Methods for Controlled Regulation of Mesenchymal Stem Cell Response In Vitro

    Get PDF
The controlled interfacial properties of materials and modulated behaviours of cells and biomolecules on their surface are the requirements in the development of a new generation of high-performance biomaterials for regenerative medicine applications. Roughness, chemistry and mechanics of biomaterials are all sensed by cells. Organization of the environment at the nano- and the microscale, as well as chemical signals, triggers specific responses with further impact on cell fate. Particularly, human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) hold a great promise in both basic developmental biology studies and regenerative medicine, as progenitors of bone cells. Their fate can be affected by various key regulatory factors (e.g. soluble growth factors, intrinsic, extrinsic environmental factors) that can be delivered by a fabricated scaffold. For example, when cultured on engineered environments that reproduce the physical features of the bone, hMSCs express tissue-specific transcription factors and consequently undergo an osteogenic fate. Therefore, producing smart bio-interfaces with targeted functionalities represents the key point in effective use of hierarchically topographical and chemical bioplatforms. In this chapter, we review laser-based approaches (e.g. Matrix-Assisted Pulsed Laser Evaporation (MAPLE), Laser-Induced Forward Transfer (LIFT), laser texturing and laser direct writing) used for the design of bio-interfaces aimed at controlling stem cell behaviour in vitro
