Hubungan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat dengan pengetahuan kebersihan gigi dan mulut di SDN 1 karang maritim Bandar Lampung

Background: One of the problems in Indonesia that needs attention is the problem of dental and oral health. Improper clean and healthy living behavior in school-age children can cause various diseases, one of which is dental and oral hygiene problems. One of the triggering factors that are thought to be related to dental and oral hygiene is lack of knowledge. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between clean and healthy living with knowledge of dental and oral hygiene in school-age children. Methods: This type of research is a type of quantitative research using a descriptive correlation research design using a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 3rd grade students of Elementary School 1 Karang Maritim. The sample in this study were members of the population taken by simple random sampling with a total of 27 respondents. Results: Based on the results of research conducted on August 12, 2022 regarding the relationship between Clean and Healthy Lifestyle Behavior with knowledge of brushing teeth in grade 3 students of Elementary School 1 Karang Maritim, Bandar Lampung City, the results of the study of respondents with knowledge of brushing their teeth with poor knowledge were 1 students (3.7 percent), with good knowledge as many as 26 students (96.3 percent). Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is a relationship between clean and healthy living behavior with knowledge and dental and oral hygiene with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05.   Pendahuluan: Salah satu masalah di Indonesia yang perlu diperhatikan adalah masalah tentang kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat yang tidak baik pada anak usia sekolah dapat menyebabkan timbulnya berbagai penyakit salah satunya yaitu permasalahan kebersihan gigi dan mulut. Salah satu faktor pemicu yang diduga berhubungan dengan kebersihan gigi dan mulut yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan hidup bersih dan sehat dengan pengetahuan kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada anak usia sekolah. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kolerasi menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 3 SDN 1 Karang Maritim. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah anggota populasi yang diambil secara simple random sampling dengan jumlah 27 responden. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 12 Agustus 2022 tentang hubungan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat dengan pengetahuan menggosok gigi pada siswa kelas 3 SDN 1 Karang Maritim Kota Bandar Lampung diperoleh hasil penelitian responden dengan pengetahuan menggosok gigi dengan pengetahuan buruk sebanyak 1 siswa (3,7 persen), dengan pengetahuan baik sebanyak 26 siswa (96,3 persen). Simpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya hubungan antara perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat dengan pengetahuan dan kebersihan gigi dan mulut dengan nilai dilihat p-value 0,000 < 0,05
