Dilatation operator and the Super Yang-Mills duals of open strings on AdS Giant Gravitons
We study the one-loop anomalous dimensions of the Super Yang-Mills dual
operators to open strings ending on AdS giant gravitons. AdS giant gravitons
have no upper bound for their angular momentum and we represent them by the
contraction of scalar fields, carrying the appropriate R-charge, with a totally
symmetric tensor. We represent the open string motion along AdS directions by
appending to the giant graviton operator a product of fields including
covariant derivatives. We derive a bosonic lattice Hamiltonian that describes
the mixing of these excited AdS giants operators under the action of the
one-loop dilatation operator of N=4 SYM. This Hamiltonian captures several
intuitive differences with respect to the case of sphere giant gravitons. A
semiclassical analysis of the Hamiltonian allows us to give a geometrical
interpretation for the labeling used to describe the fields products appended
to the AdS giant operators. It also allows us to show evidence for the
existence of continuous bands in the Hamiltonian spectrum.Comment: 28 page

Supersymmetric Chern-Simons-matter theory and phase transitions
We study supersymmetric Chern-Simons with
fundamental and antifundamental chiral multiplets of mass in the
complete parameter space spanned by , where denotes
the coupling constant. In particular, we analyze the matrix model description
of its partition function, both at finite using the method of orthogonal
polynomials together with Mordell integrals and, at large with fixed ,
using the theory of Toeplitz determinants. We show for the massless case that
there is an explicit realization of the Giveon-Kutasov duality. For finite ,
with , three regimes that exactly correspond to the known three large

Strings in AdS_4 x CP^3, Wilson loops in N=6 super Chern-Simons-matter and Bremsstrahlung functions
We find 1/6 BPS string configurations in AdS_4 x CP^3, which we identify as
the duals of certain 1/6 BPS circular Wilson loops in N=6 super
Chern-Simons-matter gauge theory. We use our results to verify -in the strong
coupling limit- a proposal made in arXiv:1402.4128 for a relation between the
expectation value of these Wilson loops and the Bremsstrahlung function from
deforming 1/2 BPS Wilson lines with a cusp. We also derive an analogous
relation between the expectation value of some particular 1/12 BPS Wilson loops
and the Bremsstrahlung function from deforming 1/6 BPS Wilson lines with an

Semiclassical partition function for strings dual to Wilson loops with small cusps in ABJM
We compute the 1-loop partition function for strings in
, whose worldsheets end along a line with small cusp
angles in the boundary of AdS. We obtain these 1-loop results in terms of the
vacuum energy for on-shell modes. Our results verify the proposal by Lewkowycz
and Maldacena in arXiv:1312.5682 for the exact Bremsstrahlung function up to
the next to leading order in the strong coupling expansion. The agreement is
observed for cusps distorting either the 1/2 BPS or the 1/6 BPS Wilson line.Comment: 28 page
Simulation of Electric Vehicles Combining Structural and Functional Approaches
In this paper the construction of a model that represents the behavior of an Electric Vehicle is described. Both the mechanical and the electric traction systems are represented using Multi-Bond Graph structural approach suited to model large scale physical systems. Then the model of the controllers, represented with a functional approach, is included giving rise to an integrated model which exploits the advantages of both approaches. On excited states in real-time AdS/CFT
The Skenderis-van Rees prescription, which allows the calculation of time-ordered correlation functions of local operators in CFT’s using holographic methods is studied and applied for excited states. Calculation of correlators and matrix elements of local CFT operators between generic in/out states are carried out in global Lorentzian AdS. We find the precise form of such states, obtain an holographic formula to compute the inner product between them, and using the consistency with other known prescriptions, we argue that the in/out excited states built according to the Skenderis-Van Rees prescription correspond to coherent states in the (large-N) AdS-Hilbert space. This is confirmed by explicit holographic computations. The outcome of this study has remarkable implications on generalizing the Hartle-Hawking construction for wave functionals of excited states in AdS quantum gravity.Fil: Botta Cantcheff, Marcelo Angel Nicolas. Important factors in the selection of contractors to improve the planning of National Army
La contratación estatal atraviesa por un sinnúmero de críticas de todos los sectores sociales del país y el Ejército Nacional no es la excepción, razón por la cual se hace necesario implementar estrategias desde la alta gerencia que permitan no incurrir en errores que conlleven al fraude y la corrupción, es pertinente fortalecer las políticas en la rigurosidad de selección de los funcionarios públicos encargados de tan ardua labor los cuales deben de contar con principios y valores de la mano de capacitación y claridad en los modelos de selección de la contratación actual y como deben de ser implementados en la planeación de la contratación del Ejercito Nacional logrando la eficiencia y trasparencia que rigen los procesos de contratación.
Por consiguiente, es oportuno implementar campañas de fortalecimientos éticos a los funcionarios que desempeñan estos cargos con la finalidad de que se basen enfáticamente en los principios de la contratación estatal establecidos en la Ley 80 de 1993 y el mandato constitucional como norma superior. Es fundamental la claridad de parte de los funcionarios en cada uno de los procesos de contratación y sus características, causales, procedimientos que se desarrollan al interior de la institución, permitiendo propiciar esos estudios previos y esa visión de las necesidades a contratar por parte de la organización, finalmente se sugiere un acompañamiento en materia de gestión de calidad que audite cada uno de los proceso que conlleven a garantizar los principios de la contratación: imparcialidad, eficacia, eficiencia, moralidad y transparencia.Government contracting is going through countless reviews from all social sectors of the country and the Army is no exception, which is why it is necessary to implement strategies from senior management that would not make mistakes that lead to fraud and corruption, it is appropriate to strengthen policies in the stringency of selection of public officials as hard work which must have principles and values of hand training and clarity in the selection models of the current recruitment and as they should be implemented in the planning of the National Army recruiting achieving efficiency and transparency governing procurement processes.
It is therefore appropriate to implement ethical campaigns fortifications officials who hold these offices in order to emphatically that are based on the principles of government procurement established by Law 80 of 1993 and the constitutional mandate as superior standard. It is essential clarity on the part of officials in each of the contracting processes and characteristics, causes, processes that take place within the institution allowing promote these previous studies and that vision needs to hire by the organization impartiality, effectiveness, efficiency, morality and transparency: finally an accompaniment on quality management to audit each of the process that lead to ensure the principles of recruitment is suggested
