Electron tunneling to the surface states at photocatalysis

    Get PDF
Simulation of tunneling electrons excited by the sunlight in TiO2 to surface states is performed for TiO2/Si nanostructure. The tunneling transmission coefficient of the surface states created by organic compounds was calculated by phase function method. Dependence of the transmission coefficient of tunneling electrons on potential barrier parameters is explained by interference of transmitted and reflected waves

The growing adoption of IT-systems for modeling and executing (business) processes or services has thrust the scientific investigation towards techniques and tools which support more complex forms of process analysis. Many of them, such as conformance checking, process alignment, mining and enhancement, rely on complete observation of past (tracked and logged) executions. In many real cases, however, the lack of human or IT-support on all the steps of process execution, as well as information hiding and abstraction of model and data, result in incomplete log information of both data and activities. This paper tackles the issue of automatically repairing traces with missing information by notably considering not only activities but also data manipulated by them. Our technique recasts such a problem in a reachability problem and provides an encoding in an action language which allows to virtually use any state-of-the-art planning to return solutions

Development of production technology for extruded starter compound feedsfor juvenile fish

    Get PDF
The article presents the results of developing recipes for domestic extruded starter compound feeds for zander, tilapia and Clary catfish. Technological modes of their production, as well as physical-chemical, mechanical and technological indicators of the developed compound feeds are established. The developed compound feeds are well-loose grains of dark and light brown colors, with sizes from 0,2 to 2,0 mm. Indicators of water resistance were at least 2,5 hours, crumbling no more than 1,5 %, swelling of granules 10-15 minutes, volume mass below 1000 kg/m3. The data obtained show that the developed feed meets the regulatory requirements for starting fish feeds. The introduction of the developed technology for the production of starter compound feeds at domestic enterprises of the feed industry will reduce the dependence of industrial fish farms on the import of compound feeds and thereby increase the profitability of the industry

One of the important problems with patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma is lung injury, caused both by a tumor effect and the influence of chemoradiotherapy. Before the treatment an obstructive lung function pattern connected with tumor substrate has been revealed in 38% of cases. After chemoradiotherapy the restrictive lung pattern was shown in 14% of the patients and mixed lung pattern was seen in 12% of the cases, which were caused by the development of pneumosclerosis and emphysema
