He rented a small room from Shafāʻāt who was the owner of a cereal mill. She was attracted to Imām and they had an affair, but he was really in love with Salwá, who was the daughter of his father's acquaintance in Cairo. Shafāʻāt threatened him and called the police and accused him of stealing her jewelry.UT Librarie

Fine copy of Yaḥyá ibn Ibrāhīm ibn ʻAbd al-Salām al-Zanjānī's commentary on ʻAzz al-Dīn ʻAbd al-Wahhāb ibn Ibrāhīm al-Zanjānī's Kitāb al-Taṣrīf. Wrapped in a cover originally affixed to a textblock containing at least two different works of Abū al-Nāfiʻ Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq al-Qāzābādī (d.1749), namely a ḥāshiyah on al-Muqaddimāt al-arbaʻ, a portion of ʻUbayd Allāh ibn Masʻūd al-Maḥbūbī's (d.1346) commentary on his own Tanqīḥ al-Uṣūl, and a commentary on the Ādāb of Birgivî Mehmet Efendi (d.1573).
