High-Speed Light Focusing through Scattering Medium by Cooperatively Accelerated Genetic Algorithm
We develop an accelerated Genetic Algorithm (GA) system constructed by the
cooperation of field-programmable gate array (FPGA) and optimized parameters of
the GA. We found the enhanced decay of mutation rate makes convergence of the
GA much faster, enabling the parameter-induced acceleration of the GA.
Furthermore, the accelerated configuration of the GA is programmed in FPGA to
boost processing speed at the hardware level without external computation
devices. This system has ability to focus light through scattering medium
within 4 seconds with robust noise resistance and stable repetition
performance, which could be further reduced to millisecond level with advanced
board configuration. This study solves the long-term limitation of the GA, it
promotes the applications of the GA in dynamic scattering mediums, with the
capability to tackle wavefront shaping in biological material.Comment: 17 pages, 10 figure
Electron Flavored Dark Matter
In this paper we investigate the phenomenology of the electron flavored Dirac
dark matter with two types of portal interactions. We analyze constraints from
the electron magnetic moment anomaly, LHC searches of singly charged scalar,
dark matter relic abundance as well as direct and indirect detections. Our
study shows that the available parameter space is quite constrained, but there
are parameter space that is compatible with the current data. We further show
that the DAMPE cosmic ray electron excess, which indicates cosmic ray excess at
around 1.5 TeV, can be interpreted as the annihilation of dark matter into
electron positron pairs in this model.Comment: 6 pages, 5 figure
Investigating the Effect of Pre-Purchase Search and Ongoing Search on Post-Purchase Dissonance
In the era of Internet, the issue of information search has obtained attention since the Internet provides more convenient search channel for consumers to change consumers’ searching behaviours. The purpose of this study aims to understand how different types of information search influences consumers’ post-purchase mental state while their amount of information search are influenced by the consumers’ product knowledge. The result shows that consumer product knowledge has positive influence on different types of information search, and has negative influence on post-purchase dissonance. Meanwhile, online pre-purchase search and post-purchase search have negative influence on post-purchase dissonance
Concerning Mobile Multitasking Post-Behavior State of Mind
With the growing popularity of mobile web service and mobile devices, mobile multitasking behaviour is becoming an important issue for mobile commerce among practitioners and academics. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of polychronicity preference, mobile self-efficacy and anxious trait on multitasking behaviour and the multitasking post-behaviour state of mind. The result shows that polychronicity preference has direct influence on users’ multitasking behaviours and negative influence toward easiness state of mobile multitasking post-behaviour state of mind. Mobile self-efficacy has positive influence on mobile multitasking behaviours while anxiety trait only has negative influence on a portion of the mobile multitasking behaviours. Mobile multitasking has direct influence on post-behaviour state of mind
A new understanding of nuclei spectra properties with propagation model
The AMS-02 experiment has observed new properties of primary cosmic rays
(CRs) categorized into two groups: He-C-O-Fe and Ne-Mg-Si-S, which are
independent of CR propagation. In this study, we investigate the unexpected
properties of these nuclei using a spatial propagation model. All nuclei
spectra are accurately reproduced and separated into primary and secondary
contributions. Our findings include: 1. Primary CR spectra are identical. 2.
Our calculations align with AMS-02 results for primary-dominated nuclei within
a 10\% difference, but show significant discrepancies for the
secondary-dominated nuclei. 3. The primary element abundance is presented for
the first time. We anticipate that the DAMPE and future HERD experiments will
provide observations of nuclei spectra above TeV energy.Comment: 8 pages, 8 figures. accepted by PR
