This study aims to analyze how Techpark, the scientific and technological park of Feevale
University, provides human, physical and financial resources to foster innovation in companies
linked to this environment. The justification for the elaboration of this article is the emergence
of business ecosystems with their management based on collaborative strategies. In this context, the Scientific-Technological parks are consolidated, focusing on the generation of ventures with
an innovative vision. Through these environments, resources are made available through the
intermediation of public and private actors to promote the creation of new businesses, bringing
development to the surrounding regions. The research method was a qualitative field study,
with data collected through interviews with the various actors in this ecosystem. It was found
that Techpark guides its management in organizational practices based on collaboration and
this practice facilitates companies to access the resources necessary for their development, such
as technical-scientific, marketing, strategic, financial resources, educational infrastructure and
for research and development of your products and services. The managers of the companies
highlight the importance of networking, which has enabled the expansion of business partners.O presente estudo tem por objetivo analisar como o Techpark, parque científico-tecnológico da
Morphometric characterization of Ross line broiler chickens lymphoid organs reared under field conditions in Zulia State
Se concluye que en condiciones de campo los índices morfométricos son una herramienta útil para determinar la inmunocompetencia de las aves.217 - [email protected] to the relationship between the morphometric characteristics and the immunocompetence in broilers, lymphoid organ development of 24 Ross strain Broiler chicks per week were evaluated weekly for six weeks from a 600 bird pen, reared under field conditions, at the Animal Production Experimental Center of Zulia State University. The relationship between Bursa weight and bursa diameter, Bursa, Spleen and Thymus weight and body weight (B/BW; S/BW; T/BW) and the relationship between organs was established. Correlation coefficient (CC) between variables was determinated. Histopathological study of the lymphoid organs and antibody titres against Newcastle Disease (ND) were performed. Positional and dispersion tests were applied. Pearson’s correlation tests and Chi-square from SAS were used. Initial body weight averaged 44 gr at the end of the study chicks averaged 2,139 gr. At day 1 Bursa, Spleen and Thymus weight averaged 0.06; 0.03 y 0.15 g, each; reaching at the end of the trial 1.14; 2.31 y 7.47 g. The B/BW grew untill fourth week and decreased from there to the end of the study. The relationship between the bursa and the spleen diminished from the fourth week on. The Thymus developed faster than the other organs. High correlation coefficients were obtained for Thymus, Spleen and body weight also for the diameter and weight of Fabricius Bursa. Histophological lesions related to infectious bursal disease were observed on bursal tissue during the last 14 days. Serological response to vaccination against ND was poor maybe due the presence of immunosupressor factors. These findings are in agreement with the B/BW and bursa/spleen indicator decrease over this period. Morphometric indexes are a useful tool to evaluate the immunocomptence of broilers under field conditions
