DETERMINATION OF BONE DENSITY IN THE GRINDER TEETH AREA

    No full text
Comparison of bone density among men and women in the area of the proposed dental implantation in the region of the grinder teeth of the upper jaws. In the 21st century, various methods are used to determine bone density in the area of dental implantation; the most common is computer tomography. For a better understanding of computed tomography scans, the dentist uses various computer programs. In our work, we used the Ez3D2009 program of Vatech Co., Ltd. to compare bone density in the area of intended dental implantation in the region of the grinder teeth of men and women. Estimation of bone density in the area of intended dental implantation in the region of the grinder teeth is necessary for the best choice of implants, the progress of the surgical operation, makes it possible to predict more accurately the duration of treatment, ensure reliable fixation and long-term functioning of implants

The Covid-19 pandemic, which began in early 2020, has made a difference in everyday and professional life. Vaccinations and work to prevent the spread of the virus are being actively carried out, but globally, the incidence of Covid-19 unfortunately cannot be reduced. In order to minimize the risk of viral infection in private clinics, patients are admitted to a formed, permanent team consisting of an administrator, a dentist, a doctor’s assistant. In state clinics, while providing assistance to the sick, the dentist and medical personnel who came into contact with sick and infected patients were isolated for 2 weeks. An acute problem for the further work of medical institutions in the whole world and in Russia in particular is the protection of medical personnel and patients. Therefore, it is necessary to organize the work of dental clinics, taking into account the new conditions. An acute problem for the further work of medical institutions in the whole world and in Russia in particular is the protection of medical personnel and patients. The purpose of studis to analyze the situation at dental appointments in clinics in Moscow, Russia in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Materials and methods: A survey of 100 doctors in Moscow was carried out (average age 42.3 + 0.8). The survey questions included: analysis of work under severe constraints in spring 2020, analysis of work at the reception at the present time. Conclusion: strict adherence to new protocols both at work and in everyday life has a positive effect on preventing the spread of Coronavirus infection. © 2021, Yerevan State Medical University. To plan dental interventions on the upper jaw teeth, a doctor needs to know the relationship of the teeth apexes and maxillary sinus. Measurement of these parameters using a cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) allows to plan the interventions precisely to minimise complications. Aim. It was to evaluate the length of the molars and premolars of the upper jaw and the distance from the apexes of their roots to the maxillary sinus floor according to cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) in different age groups. Material and methods. We analysed CBCT data of patients in three age groups: young, middle and elderly. On the upper jaw, the length of molar and premolar roots in the examined contingent is the same in all age groups and is within 18-19 mm and 20-21 mm, respectively. Results. The smallest distance to the maxillary sinus was recorded in the second and third molars in the young and middle age group and in the second premolar region in the young age group. With age, there is a significant increase in the distance to the sinus in the molar zone.

International audienceA new measurement of the neutron lifetime, carried out with the aid of a large gravitational spectrometer made in Petersburg Institute of Nuclear Physics (PNPI) is presented: τn = 881.5 ± 0.7 ± 0.6 s. In our experiment the measurement of neutron lifetime is carried out using the method of storing ultracold neutrons in a material trap with gravitational barrier. Further improvement of the obtained result can be achieved at the helium temperatures. Here we present our neutron lifetime result, modified installation scheme and the first results of cryogenic tests are discussed
