In this paper, using the theoretical and numerical investigation of molecular motion, we study heat transfer processes in the gas placed in a Newtonian gravitational field. The influence of gravity on the heat conductivity of the gas is analyzed. The gravity considered is more than 100 000 times higher than that of the Earth. The main differences of the gas heat conductivity under such high gravity from the one detected under normal gravity are demonstrated and explained. It is shown how the thermal equilibrium for the heat conductivity of the gas depends on gravity and the type of gas. The difference between natural gravity and the centrifugal force is discussed. It is shown how the gas density influences the thermal equilibrium for the heat conductivity under a strong centrifugal force. The convective heat transfer in the gas placed into a gravitational or centrifugal field is analyzed. It is shown that the thermal equilibrium of the convective heat transfer under intensive gravity is not the same as under normal gravity. The horizontal convection mechanism is discussed. A technical way of the realization of gravity thermal effects in the gas is represented. All necessary parameters of the experimental setup are given.
The image of Thomas Chatterton as a proclamation of the postmodernistic idea of art in the novel "Chatterton" by Peter Ackroyd
All Chatterton`s contemporaries and followers saw him as a tragic figure, pure soul, whose godlike image and stainless reputation were undisputable. Romantics constructed their legend around the late poet, a legend which is itself a subject to a change by a subsequent age. Postmodernist Peter Ackroyd calls into doubt the Romantic image of Wordsworth's "marvelous boy," Coleridge's "spirit blest," Keats's "child of sorrow". At the same time various literary historians and researchers accused Chatterton of imitation and plagiarism. Ackroyd creates his own legend, even several legends mixed together about Thomas Chatterton. He suggests an absolutely different provocative, revolutionary to some extent version of poet`s life and death. The first impression of the book is that Ackroyd`s Chatterton, who has very little to do with the customary image of the poet, is simply the author`s attempt to deconstruct the tradition and thus to question the historical truth about his life. However the author does not merely undermine the reputation of the forger and shows his readers the other side of the coin. In fact Ackroyd managed to look deep into the whole phenomenon of Thomas Chatterton and created a more profound, more-sided image of the poet. He managed to unearth the real sense and significance of his life and creative works. Besides the author not only gives his own definition of the poet but at the same time explores the issues of originality and forgery, historical truth and the power of art
Gothic revival in the works of Thomas Chatterton
The second half of the 18th century in the history of English literature envisages the decline of Enlightenment ideas under the influence of the gradually increscent Romantic movement. This cultural trend, new and fresh, aimed to challenge the inconsistent and utopian ideals of the Ratio Epoch. It is not by accident that the establishment of Romanticism is closely related to the revival of Gothic tradition in literature. Gothic, both as a separate genre and an essential element of Romantic culture was revived as a reaction against the excessive and blind belief in the power of human`s rationality. Gothic supernatural images and feature, doomed and oppressive atmosphere, despair and fatality of a character`s life in the face of villains and hostility of the outside world makes apparently perfect contrast to the ideas and ideals promoted by the Enlightenment and depict the disappointment in them by means of strong rejection of anything related to common sense. Thomas Chatterton was the first in the poetic genre to take up Gothic elements and use them skillfully in his creations. In this article we will try to explore the way he employed the gothic in his poetry and thus created a powerful incentive for the establishment of a completely new trend in literature and found himself acknowledgement of such powerful figures of Romanticism as W. Wordsworth, S.T. Coleridge, J. Keats, R. Southey who admired him and continued to develop this tradition

For the first time, silicon carbide nanoparticles were obtained by spray pyrolysis of chlorotrimethylsilane droplets in an aerosol reactor with argon flow. It was shown that with an increase in the reactor wall temperature to 1100 °C, the sample purity degree grows, and the average size of the nanoparticles is 6-40 nm.
For reduced pressure 60–300 Torr experimental results and theoretical estimates of electrostatic deposition of femtoliter droplets, containing inside nanoparticles, from the gas stream on substrate-electrode are presented. It is shown that the corona discharge with a stream of droplets is stable in a limited range of currents and voltages. Similarity criterion of the process of electrostatic deposition is obtained. It was found that the use a thin dielectric substrate, covering the electrodes, significantly reduces agglomeration of charged droplets due to Coulomb repulsion.
Flexible composition and execution of high performance, high fidelity multiscale biomedical simulations
Multiscale simulations are essential in the biomedical domain to accurately model human physiology. We present a modular approach for designing, constructing and executing multiscale simulations on a wide range of resources, from laptops to petascale supercomputers, including combinations of these. Our work features two multiscale applications, in-stent restenosis and cerebrovascular bloodflow, which combine multiple existing single-scale applications to create a multiscale simulation. These applications can be efficiently coupled, deployed and executed on computers up to the largest (peta) scale, incurring a coupling overhead of 1–10% of the total execution time
