This research is motivated by a decline in motorcycle sales produced by PT. Yamaha Indonesia MFG in the 2014-2018 period. In this research there was a decrease in the decision on the power of interest in customer purchases on PT. Yamaha Indonesia MFG so that later can be analyzed in the formulation of this paper, that how customer take motorcycle purchase decisions amid the phenomenon of competition and increasingly crowded sales rivalries. The purpose of this research was to analyze the influence of motivation, perceived quality, and customer attitudes toward decisions in purchasing Yamaha motorbikes. This research uses quantitative and qualitative methods. The respondents in this research were 100 people who could meet one to five criteria consisting of; initiator (initiator), influencer (influencer), decision making (decider), purchase (buyer), user (user) motorcycle production PT. Yamaha Indonesia MFG. There are 3 hypotheses formulated and tested using the Regression Analysis method. In qualitative analysis it is obtained from the interpretation of processing data by providing information and explanation. In the results of this research shows the results of Motivation, Quality Perception, and Customer Attitudes have a relationship that has a significant impact on Purchasing Decisions
Pengaruh Kompetensi Pemimpin, Disiplin Kerja dan Iklim Organisasi terhadap Produktifitas Pegawai
This study aimed to determine the effect of leadership competencies, work discipline and organizational climate partially or jointly against employee productivity. This study uses quantitative methods to survey techniques. Data collection instrument used was a questionnaire enclosed with Likert scale. This research uses a random sample of the number of respondents is 72 employees. Data obtained from this study will be analyzed using statistical methods with SPSS version 19 for Windows. The results of this study indicate that There is a positive and significant influence between the competence leader (X1) on the productivity of employees (Y) with a correlation coefficient of determination of 0.312 with a simple regression equation = 16,095 + 0,426X1. There is a positive and significant effect of labor discipline (X2) to the satisfaction of productivity of employees (Y) with a correlation coefficient of determination of 0.373 with a simple regression equation = 23.561 + 0,463X2. There is a positive and significant influence between organizational climate (X3) on productivity of employees (Y) with a correlation coefficient of determination of 0.323 with a simple regression equation = 11.292 + 0,687X3. There is a positive and significant influence competence leader (X1), work discipline (X2) and organizational climate (X3) together on productivity (Y), multiple correlation coefficient of determination obtained 0,929 with multiple regression equation = 6.312 + 0,152X1 + 0.257X2+0,306X3. This research is expected to be useful for companies in particular to increase employee productivity maximally. Researchers suggest that corporate management, always improve the competence of leaders, work discipline and organizational climate so that employee productivity increases in the future
What Drives Innovation?: Inferences from an Industry-Wide Survey in Nigeria
This chapter seeks to make some contributions to the literature on firm-level innovation in Africa by attempting to identify the significant factors that explain the capability of firms in Nigeria to innovate using the results of an industry-wide study. We focused on the product and process innovation activities of firms between 2003 and 2006 and found differences in the factors that drive them at the firm level. Our results further show that interactions matter more than most innovation-related variables and that the most important actors that influence a firmâs innovation efforts are its customers and suppliers. We conclude that product and process innovations are not mutually exclusive and that a major key to successful innovation is how and with whom a firm collaborates. The implication of this for firms and policy makers is that an effectively wired innovation system where all stakeholders are active is critical for firm-level innovation capability.innovation; drivers; manufacturing industry; Nigeria; determinants

For that we need a sober assessment of the factors that have an influence on the quality of the service itself. Structure and conduct of risk returns-characteristics of residential property investment in Kaduna metropolis, Nigeria
Residential property investment is one of the most subscribed investments in the world. However, its risk-return characteristics is least understood especially in the Nigeria context. Though past studies have critically established the performance of mostly isolated residential and commercial properties in southern regions of Nigeria. Disentangling and identifying empirically risk-return characteristic of residential property in Kaduna metropolis Northwest Nigeria is an unresolved challenge. This paper presents an empirical analysis of the performance of residential properties to gain a better understanding of the property market dynamics in Nigeria, survey research approach was employed to collect quantitative data required for the study. To determine residential property returns and asset risk, descriptive (weighted means, standard deviation and percentages) and inferential statistics were utilised. The outcome demonstrated that residential properties have diverse total returns and riskreturn characteristic. Furthermore, this study established that total returns from residential properties ranged between 7.93% to 12.68 % and the risk features ranged from 2.37% to6.81% among the classes of properties. The result demonstrates a direct positive relationship between total returns and risk profile. Hence, recommends that Malali market is the most desirable location for risk-averse investors.

Lâigname (Dioscorea spp.) est une culture vivriĂšre de grande importance pour la sĂ©curitĂ© alimentaire au BĂ©nin. Cependant, sa production dans le dĂ©partement de lâAtakora (extrĂȘme Nord-Ouest) est sĂ©rieusement affectĂ©e par les changements climatiques. Pour analyser les perceptions paysannes des changements climatiques, documenter les impacts de ceux-ci sur la production des ignames et les stratĂ©gies d'adaptation dĂ©veloppĂ©es pour y faire face, quinze (15) villages ont Ă©tĂ© sĂ©lectionnĂ©s au hasard et explorĂ©s. Les producteurs ont signalĂ© des fluctuations de tempĂ©rature et de pluviomĂ©trie, une augmentation de la tempĂ©rature et une diminution de la pluviomĂ©trie corroborĂ©es par lâanalyse des donnĂ©es mĂ©tĂ©orologiques. LâĂąge et le genre influencent significativement la perception paysanne des changements climatiques. Les impacts les plus importants sont la baisse de rendement, la pourriture des tubercules et des semences, lâappauvrissement et la dĂ©gradation des sols et la prolifĂ©ration des insectes et ravageurs. Les stratĂ©gies adoptĂ©es inclus entre autres le paillage des buttes, le dĂ©placement vers les zones humides et lâutilisation de bonnes pratiques culturales et de la diversitĂ© variĂ©tale.
