Aim: In this study, we aimed to evaluate the our midterm results of endovenous laser ablation treatment in great saphenous vein insufficiency. Material and methods:Between January 2011June 2011, 108 patients [56 (%51,8) women, 52 (% 48,2) men; mean age; 43,3±11,7 years, range; 25 to 71 years] who underwent the endovenous ablation intervention included in this study and investigated retrospectively. In first month control; Patients with thrombophlebitis, thrombosis were recovered clinically. In 6th month; complaints of patients with deep vein thrombosis were got well, recanalization was detected thrombosed veins and all great saphenous vein were obliterated in 6th month controls except three patient.
