In this work, we present an analytical study for the calculation of the characteristic impedance and the dispersion characteristics of the dominant hybrid mode in a complex-anisotropic-medium shielded microstrip line based on the Method of Moments (MoM) and the Galerkin's procedure in the spectral domain.
