Mobile Database System: Role of Mobility on the Query Processing
Abstract-The rapidly expanding technology of mobile communication will give mobile users capability of accessing information from anywhere and any time. The wireless technology has made it possible to achieve continuous connectivity in mobile environment. When the query is specified as continuous, the requesting mobile user can obtain continuously changing result. In order to provide accurate and timely outcome to requesting mobile user, the locations of moving object has to be closely monitored. The objective of paper is to discuss the problem related to the role of personal and terminal mobility and query processing in the mobile environment
Synthesis of ethylene carbonate from cyclocondensation of ethylene glycol and urea over ZnO•Cr2O3 catalyst system controlled by co-precipitation method
ZnO·Cr2O3 catalyst has been synthesized by low temperature, pH controlled co-precipitation route and characterized employing techniques of Brunauer, Emmett, and Teller (BET) surface area measurement, ammonia desorption technique, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). These characterizations reveal the catalyst to possess ZnO·ZnCr2O4 composition. The catalysts have been tested for their performance for the first time, in the synthesis of ethylene carbonate from cyclocondensation of ethylene glycol and urea. Effect of catalyst concentration, temperature and molar ratio of reactants has been studied to obtain the optimum conversion and selectivity of ethylene glycol and urea to ethylene carbonate. A maximum yield of 85.75% of ethylene carbonate was obtained at a temperature of 423 K and urea: ethylene glycol molar ratio of 1:1.5. A tentative mechanism of the reaction is proposed on the basis of analysis of reactants, products and modeling of the transition state for the reaction under density function theory using Gaussian09W software. Our studies suggest a consecutive mechanism for the reaction. In the first step, urea and ethylene glycol react to produce 2-hydroxyethyl carbamate, which undergoes further reaction to produce ethylene carbonate (EC) and ammonia
Task and Model Agnostic Adversarial Attack on Graph Neural Networks
Adversarial attacks on Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) reveal their security vulnerabilities, limiting their adoption in safety-critical applications. However, existing attack strategies rely on the knowledge of either the GNN model being used or the predictive task being attacked. Is this knowledge necessary? For example, a graph may be used for multiple downstream tasks unknown to a practical attacker. It is thus important to test the vulnerability of GNNs to adversarial perturbations in a model and task-agnostic setting. In this work, we study this problem and show that Gnns remain vulnerable even when the downstream task and model are unknown. The proposed algorithm, TANDIS (Targeted Attack via Neighborhood DIStortion) shows that distortion of node neighborhoods is effective in drastically compromising prediction performance. Although neighborhood distortion is an NP-hard problem, TANDIS designs an effective heuristic through a novel combination of Graph Isomorphism Network with deep Q-learning. Extensive experiments on real datasets show that, on average, TANDIS is up to 50% more effective than state-of-the-art techniques, while being more than 1000 times faster
Evaluation of salivary sodium, chloride, magnesium and ionic calcium concentration in pregnant women
Background” The purpose of this research was to examine the salivary groups of sodium chloride, magnesium, and calcium of unstimulated whole spit in pregnant women in three trimesters and compare the characteristics of non-pregnant women. Methods A longitudinal investigation. At the Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital in Wardha, India, 75 women who were pregnant or were in the process of becoming pregnant and 75 women who were not pregnant were included in the study's sample of 75 pregnant and 75 non-pregnant women. Salivary Sodium, Chloride, Magnesium, and Ionic calcium concentrations were measured in unstimulated whole saliva. By using the Student t test and the ANCOVA, the data were examined (two-tailed α = 0.05). Results As the trimester progressed, the sodium, Chloride and ionic calcium concentrations continued to decline and magnesium levels were rising as the pregnancy progressed while the values in the non-pregnant women were in the normal range. Conclusion This research found differences in unstimulated whole saliva between pregnant and non-pregnant women

Eight new species presented are Calostoma areolatum collected in Wuyishan National Park (China), Crinipellis bidens from Hubei Province (China), Lactifluus sainii from Himalayan India, Inocybe elata from Yunnan (China), Inocybe himalayensis from Pakistan. Specimens previously identified as Massalongia carnosa represent a new species, namely M. patagonica restricted to southern South America. Saprolegnia maragheica is a new oomycete species of fresh water in Maraghe (Iran). Uncispora wuzhishanensis is a new aquatic hyphomycete species. A type specimen of Raddetes turkestanicus was studied and based on this the new combination Conocybe turkestanica, is proposed. Argyranthemum frutescens is a new host for Alternaria alternata and Syzygium cumini for Phyllosticta capitalensis in India. Crepidotus ehrendorferi is confirmed for Hungary and Pluteus leucoborealis for Central Europe, and for the phytogeographical region of Carpaticum. Pseudopithomyces palmicola is shown to occur on grapevine and it is validated by adding a unique identifier. Terfezia fanfani is reported first from Algeria.Peer reviewe
