A powerful palladium-catalyzed multicomponent process for the preparation of oxazolines and benzoxazoles
Efficient and convenient three-component couplings of an aryl halide, isocyanide, and an amino alcohol under palladium catalysis provide a range of oxazolines and benzoxazoles in excellent yield
Palladium-catalyzed multicomponent synthesis of 2-aryl-2-imidazolines from aryl halides and diamines
An efficient palladium-catalyzed three-component reaction that combines aryl halides, isocyanides, and diamines provides access to 2-aryl-2-imidazolines in yields up to 96%. Through variation of the diamine component, the reaction can be extended to the synthesis of 2-aryl-1H-benzimidazoles and 2-aryl-1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrimidines
Mechanistic exploration of the palladium-catalysed process for the synthesis of benzoxazoles and benzothiazoles
A convenient one-pot palladium-catalyzed cascade process for the prepn. of both benzoxazoles and benzothiazoles has been developed. While these reactions proceed to give similar compds. the mechanisms governing the processes are different as are the exptl. conditions employed
