Some thinkers in the Christian and Islamic traditions assert that God doesn’t only create the universe ex nihilo, but that he also continuously recreates the universe in order to preserve its existence. This chapter will discuss randomness vis-à-vis the doctrine of continuous creation as understood in both religious traditions. We argue that the doctrine of continuous creation in its version that is held by both Christians and Muslims would preclude ontic quantum randomness. The reason is that in the doctrine of continuous creation, God is ultimately and meticulously responsible for the existence of objects and properties at every single moment

Does Black Monday appear on The Indonesia Stock Exchange?

Stock transactions are based on a daily transaction,where Monday begins more closed time than other days. For this reason, Monday is more volatile than other days.  Findings. We find that a positive return opportunity larger (more than 60%) occurs on all trading days.This result indicates the potential for Investment in Indonesia Stock Exchange. We also found “Black Monday†in sectors 1 and 9, indicate Monday Lower Return and Volume compare other days.  About 77% results Monday volume lower than other days. This shows Monday trading activity has not risen. This situation does not fit the hypothesis, where after the holiday weekend, investors are eager to invest. In this case, it means that at the weekend, more negative information, so that trade transactions have not increased. Regarding the correlation between (Ï) return(o-c) and return(c-c) it is found that almost all are significantly positive except in sector 4; 5; total and LQ 45. This positive correlation indicates that not much information flow entered when the market was closed

Emergency Peripartum Hystrectomy and Postnatal Depression

Objective: to investigate postnatal depression after emergency peripartum hysterectomy versus controls.  Material and methods: This case control study was conducted at District headquarters teaching hospital Rawalpindi between July 2020 and June 2021.We compared postnatal depression among patients who underwent emergency peripartum hysterectomy (EPH)versus control group where surgical procedures other than hysterectomy (B-Lynch, uterine artery ligation or internal iliac artery ligation) were performed.  Results: A total of 88 patients were included, 44 in hysterectomy group and 44 in non hystrectomized/control group. The scores on Edinburgh post-natal depression scale were high in hysterectomy group (11.61±2.48) , compared to non hysterectomy group(6.79±2.13) which was statistically significant. ( p=0.001).Uterine atony, Placental abruption, placenta previa and accrete, were identified as main reasons for surgical intervention in both groups. Emergency peripartum hysterectomy is a  traumatic birth event with serious physical, emotional and psychological consequences. It is empirical to not only screen the women in immediate postpartum period, but a long term follow up in community is required.  

ANALISA DAERAH RAWAN KECELAKAAN DI JALAN TOL BELMERA

Berdasarkan data kecelakaan yang ada di Jasa Marga dari tahun ke tahun didapat bahwa penyebab kecelakaan yang terbesar disebabkan oleh faktor manusia (pengemudi). Dengan banyaknya lokasi kecelakaan di jalan tol Belmera akan berakibat pada menurunnya kinerja ruas jalan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 (dua) metode yaitu, metode frekuensi dan metode tingkat kecelakaan serta hasil dari kedua metode tersebut pun berbeda. Untuk menentukan karakteristik kecelakaan di jalan tol Belmera dilakukan dengan cara mendata langsung dan menggunakan data kecelakaan yang terjadi di jalan tol Belmera tahun 2016-2020. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat lokasi rawan kecelakaan (Black Spot) di ruas tol Belmera dengan karakteristik kecelakaan sebagai berikut : jenis kecelakaan tunggal merupakan jenis kecelakaan yang paling banyak terjadi (95%), kendaraan mini bus merupakan jenis kendaraan yang paling besar frekuensi keterlibatannya (30%), waktu yang paling sering terjadi kecelakaan adalah pada pukul 00.06-12.00 (37%), cuaca cerah merupakan kondisi cuaca yang paling dominan terjadi kecelakaan (73%), lajur kiri merupakan posisi lajur yang paling sering terjadi kecelakaan (37%), dan faktor penyebab kecelakaan yang mendominasi pada jalan tol Belmera adalah faktor pengemudi (67%)
