Analisis Kelayakan Agroindustri Virgin Coconut Oil(studi Kasus Kelompok Tani Anugrah Kelurahan Tandurusa Kecamatan Aertembaga Kota Bitung)

This study aims to analyze how much profit out of the business of agro-industry Virgin Coconut Oil and analyzing the feasibility of agroindustrial Virgin Coconut Oil of Grace Farmers Group in Tandurusa Village Aertembaga Sub=District, District of Bitung. This research method is a method of Agro-industry survey on business Tandurusa Grace Farmer Group. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire technique. Methods of sample collection is done use purposive sampling) are members of farmer groups Grace. Analyzed using profits to the equation TC = TFC + TVC, TR = Q. P, Π = TR - TC. Then proceed to calculate the value of R / C which is the ratio between the total revenue with total costs incurred during the production process, wherein if R / C> 1 = worthy, R / C = 1 = breakeven, R / C 1. Fluctuations in the price and availability of raw materials greatly influence Virgin Coconut Oil production. Venture capital also influences the production of Virgin Coconut Oil. Agribusiness Virgin Coconut Oil provides an opportunity to increase income of farmers' income and employment opportunities and improve the State Foreign Exchange

Characterization of Buffelgrass (Cenchrus ciliaris L.) Germplasm Using DUS Descriptors

    No full text
The present study was carried on thirty seven Cenchrus genotypes during rabi, 2022-23. Tweleve traits were recorded as per the descriptors provided by PPV & FRA and several genotypes possessed unique traits that aids in genotype identification. The traits viz.,Growth habit ,Anothcyanin coloration on nodes, Node colour, Leaf blade altitude, Leaf blade pubescence, Awns distribution, Awns colour, Leaf colour, and  Early vigour showed significant variation among genotypes. Quantitative Characters viz., Plant height, Leaf length (cm), Leaf width (cm), Inter-nodal length (cm), Nodes on tiller, Panicle length (cm), Tillers/Plant, Green fodder yield were recorded. The traits, Plant height, No. of tillers plant and green fodder yield recorded significant critical difference between the genotypes. Hence utmost care would be given for these characters while in the selection process of Cenchrus ciliaris crop improvement

Breeding Value of Quality Protein Maize Inbreds

    No full text
The cultivar with high and positive breeding value can be used as a good parent for breeding of traits in hybridization programs because they can better transfer the desirable characteristics to the progeny in each case. To obtain the breeding value present investigation was carried out in maize with 33 inbreds of maize and seven inbreds of QPM lines to assess the breeding value of maize  progenies for the better selection. The progeny values ranged from 62.04 (UMI 48 x CO 1) to 126.26 (CML 145 x CO 1). The breeding value ranged from 0.17 (UMI 48 x CO 1) to 0.39 (CML 145 x CO 1). CML 145 x CO 1 had high breeding value (0.39) with high progeny mean. UMI 48 x CO 1 had low breeding value (-0.17) with low progeny mean (90.80). The parent CML 145 was the superior most both for  perse  mean (P38=126.26) as well as for its hybrid progeny mean (C2= 168)

Multi depth-velocity filters for enhancing multiple moving objects in 5-D light field videos

    No full text
A moving object in a five-dimensional (5-D) light field video (LFV) can be selectively enhanced using the depth and the velocity of the object. In this paper, a 5-D depth-velocity (DV) filter is proposed to enhance multiple moving objects at different depths and with different velocities in an LFV. The 5-D DV filter is designed as a cascade of an infinite-extent impulse response multi-depth filter and a finite-extent impulse response multi-velocity filter. Experimental results obtained with numerically generated and real LFVs indicate that more than 15 dB improvement in signal-to-interference ratio can be achieved with the proposed 5-D multi DV filter compared to previously proposed multi depth-only filters

Dynamic Studies of Nodulation and Morphological Characterization of Dhaincha (Sesbania aculeate L.) Accessions

Sesbania aculeate is a quick growing, succulent, easily decomposable and produces maximum amount of organic matter and nitrogen in the soil. Sesbania green manure after decomposition, increases humus, available nitrogen and lower down the C:N ratio of soil, aeration, permeability, enhance the boron and iron content in soil and also protect the soil from leaching of nutrients. Besides this significance, current study was carried out during rabi 2022 at ADAC&RI, Trichy to characterize the explored Daincha germplasms for their morpho biometric triats, green biomass yield and nodulation. Daincha germplasm Sivagangai local recorded more green biomass yield (19.8t / ha) and superior contributing biometrical traits. The number of Rhizobium colonies was higher in Sivagangai local as compared to Villupuram local, Vellore local & Pant variety. This could further be utilized for their symbiotic effectiveness determination under field condition and can be effectively utilized in hybridization programs for improving more green biomass yield

EVALUASI AKURASI DAN PRESISI RESONATOR HELHOLTZ PADA LABORATORIUM FISIKA UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA

    No full text
Research on the accuracy and precision of the Helmholtz resonator evaluation at UIN Sunan Kalijaga physics laboratory has been conducted. This research is motivated by the absence of evaluation research on this tool since its arrival in 2008. This research was conducted in 3 stages, namely the preparation of tools and materials, data collection, and data processing. The results of this study provide information that the accuracy of the Helmholtz resonator in the UIN Sunan Kalijaga physics laboratory has decreased. The accuracy is still in the good category, even though it is under SNI and SI. While the precision is still very good and still meets SNI and SI

Lead in Air in Bangladesh: Exposure in a Rural Community with Elevated Blood Lead Concentrations among Young Children

    No full text
Previous evaluations of a birth cohort in the Munshiganj District of Bangladesh had found that over 85% of 397 children aged 2–3 years had blood lead concentrations above the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s reference level of 5 μg/dL. Studies in urban areas of Bangladesh have found elevated levels of lead in the air due to industries and remaining contamination from the historic use of leaded gasoline. Sources of lead in rural areas of Bangladesh remain unknown. We conducted air sampling in both residential and industrial sites in Munshiganj to determine whether children are exposed to elevated lead concentrations in the air and study the association between the children’s blood lead levels and sampled air lead concentrations. Residential and industrial air samples in Munshiganj were found to have elevated lead concentrations (mean 1.22 μg/m3) but were not found to be associated with the observed blood lead concentrations. Lead in air is an important environmental health exposure risk to the for children in Munshiganj, and further research may shed light on specific sources to inform exposure prevention and mitigation programs
