These records document the actions of the Alumnae of the Sacred Heart of San Diego. Included are conference planning materials, membership information, event flyers, newsletters, and records documenting the relationship between the Religious of the Sacred Heart and the University of San Diego. In addition to records specific to the San Diego chapter, are records of the Associated Alumnae/i of the Sacred Heart, the World Association, and various regional chapters. We set goals for ourselves; when we attain our first goal, we cannot be complacent, for we shall soon begin a downward slide from our plateau and others will pass us on the upward road to new horizons. We can never be truly happy in this life, since we are destined to find true happiness only in the possession of our eternal goal, the Beatific Vision. Since we are always searching for happiness, our motives should keep in mind always the ultimate goal of life
