X-ray imaging of a synthetic mammography structure

A synthetic mammography structure was used as a dummy test object in order to investigate three different diagnostic techniques for producing x- ray images: a) by traditional mammography, b) by refraction and c) by phase dispersion. Refraction and phase dispersion techniques show significant advantages in revealing features that have negligible absorption contrast.
