Agenda de pesquisa e opções teórico-metodológicas nas investigações sobre trabalho docente Research agenda and theoretical-methodological options in the research on teacher's work

O texto propõe-se à análise da agenda de pesquisa e das orientações teórico-metodológicas presentes na literatura especializada sobre trabalho docente. Inicia apresentando as políticas neoliberais, materializadas em reformas educacionais que atingiram toda a América Latina. Discute a agenda de pesquisa sobre a temática, considerando: (1) os impactos que o docente vive, enquanto trabalhador imerso numa nova "cultura" institucional e (2) o produto do seu trabalho - formação de "força de trabalho" e, no caso da educação superior, produção de "tecnologia e conhecimento científico". Ao final, localiza as grandes linhas teórico-metodológicas da literatura especializada sobre o tema e as analisa criticamente.<br>This paper analyses the research agenda and the theoretical-methodological orientation present in the specialized literature on teachers' work. After a presentation of the neo-liberal politics, materialized in the educational reforms that have reached all Latin America, it discusses the research agenda on these themes, considering: 1) the impacts teachers, as worker immersed in a new "institutional culture", live; and 2) their work product - the training of a "work force" and, in the case of higher education, the production of "technological and scientific knowledge". Finally, it points out the general theoretical-methodological outlines of the specialized literature on the subject and analyzes them critically
