Magnetic Behavior of a Mixed Ising Ferrimagnetic Model in an Oscillating Magnetic Field

The magnetic behavior of a mixed Ising ferrimagnetic system on a square lattice, in which the two interpenetrating square sublattices have spins +- 1/2 and spins +-1,0, in the presence of an oscillating magnetic field has been studied with Monte Carlo techniques. The model includes nearest and next-nearest neighbor interactions, a crystal field and the oscillating external field. By studying the hysteretic response of this model to an oscillating field we found that it qualitatively reproduces the increasing of the coercive field at the compensation temperature observed in real ferrimagnets, a crucial feature for magneto-optical applications. This behavior is basically independent of the frequency of the field and the size of the system. The magnetic response of the system is related to a dynamical transition from a paramagnetic to a ferromagnetic phase and to the different temperature dependence of the relaxation times of both sublattices.Comment: 10 figures. Spin-Wave Theory of the Multiple-Spin Exchange Model on a Triangular Lattice in a Magnetic Field : 3-Sublattice Structures

We study the spin wave in the S=1/2 multiple-spin exchange model on a triangular lattice in a magnetic field within the linear spin-wave theory. We take only two-, three- and four-spin exchange interactions into account and restrict ourselves to the region where a coplanar three-sublattice state is the mean-field ground state. We found that the Y-shape ground state survives quantum fluctuations and the phase transition to a phase with a 6-sublattice structure occurs with softening of the spin wave. We estimated the quantum corrections to the ground state sublattice magnetizations due to zero-point spin-wave fluctuations.Comment: 8 pages, 20 figure

O objetivo desse trabalho foi caracterizar carvões vegetais de bambu nativo e exótico, com pirólise em diferentes temperaturas, com espectroscopia infravermelha a fim de descrever propriedades relevantes a sua função no solo como condicionador e investigar a possibilidade de quantificação desses materiais em solos.Apresentação oral - graduação

Impacto da renda na demanda de proteína animal no Brasil: uma análise regional.

O Brasil é um país de expressiva participação no mercado de proteínas de origem animal no mundo, um caminho que vem sendo traçado há muitos anos. Por isso, a presente pesquisa teve como objetivo avaliar o impacto da renda sobre o consumo de carnes, vísceras, pescados, aves, ovos, leite e derivados nas cinco grandes regiões do Brasil ao longo do tempo. Para tal, foram utilizados dados da Pesquisa de Orçamentos Familiares (POF), realizada pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE) nos períodos de 2002?2003, 2008?2009 e 2017?2018, utilizando o método Mínimos Quadrados Ponderados e, como fator de ponderação, a população em cada faixa de renda. Foi constatado que todas as regiões possuem dados em comum, como a maior elasticidade média para o grupo de leites e derivados. Há, porém, diferenças em relação ao maior dispêndio de certas proteínas, como ocorre para pescados na região Norte. Nas demais regiões, o maior foi para carne de boi de primeira
