This study aims to determine the effect of using multimedia on improving student learning outcomes on excretory system material in class XI SMA YPK Pematangsiantar. The total population of 64 people consisting of 2 classes and samples were taken by random assignment so that 2 classes were obtained, namely the control class (XI-3) 32 people and the experimental class (XI-1) 32 people. The control class was treated without using multimedia power point and the experimental class was treated using multimedia power point. Data analysis was carried out by finding the average (, standard deviation (S) and hypothesis testing (t test) at the significance level = 0.05. From the results of the study, the average post-test for the control class was 88 and the experimental class was 90.13 with a difference in learning outcomes of 2.13. From the results of hypothesis testing (t test) obtained tcount (2.790) > ttable (1.99) at a significance level of 0.05 and degrees of freedom (dk) = 62, then Ho rejected and Hais accepted, meaning that there is an effect of using multimedia power point to improve student learning outcomes on the material of the human excretory system in class XI SMA YPK Pematangsiantar. It was concluded that there was an effect of using multimedia on improving student learning outcomes in the material of the human excretory system of class XI SMA YPK Pematangsiantar

This study aims to determine the effect of mulch type and bulb weight on the growth and yield of onion production (Allium ascalonicum L.). In detail, this study aims to (1). Know the type of mulch that is most suitable for the growth and production of onion plants. (2). Knowing the weight of bulbs is best for the growth and production of onion plants. (3). Know the interaction between the type of mulch and the weight of bulbs used for the growth and production of onion plants. This study used Group Randomized Design (RAK) with 2 treatments, namely Factor I: three types of Mulch use (M): M0 = No Mulch; M1= Silver black plastic mulch (0.35 cm thick); M2= Mulch rice straw (1.5 cm thick). Factor II: three tuber weight intervals, namely: B0= 0 - 1.4 g (Small Tuber); B1= 1.5 – 1.8 g (Medium Tuber); B2 = > 1.8 g (Large Tubers). The results showed that the treatment of several types of mulch had a significant effect on plant height, weight of fresh tubers per clump, number of fresh tubers per clump, weight of fresh tubers per plot and number of fresh tubers per plot. M1 silver black plastic mulch treatment resulted in the highest plant height. weight of fresh tubers per clump (148.22 g), number of fresh tubers per clump, weight of fresh tubers per plot. Tuber weight treatment has a noticeable effect on plant height, number of leaves, weight of fresh tubers per clump, number of fresh tubers per clump, weight of fresh tubers per plot and number of fresh tubers per plot. B2 treatment yields the highest crop, number of leaves), weight of fresh tubers per clump, number of fresh tubers per clump, weight of fresh tubers per plot. The interaction of the use of several types of mulch and various tuber weights has a noticeable effect on plant height, number of leaves, weight of fresh tubers per clump, number of fresh tubers per clump, weight of fresh tubers per plot and number of fresh tubers per plot

The research aims to know the effect of factors of production on the production of lettuce farming, to determine the level of technical, allocative, and economic efficiency of the use of production factors of lettuce farming and to determine the level of profit that can result from lettuce farming. The reason for choosing the area was because the majority of the population were cultivating lettuce plants. The results showed that: the influence of production inputs (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, labour and land area) significantly influence the production of lettuce farming. The level of efficiency in the use of production factors (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, labour and equipment) has not been technical, price, and economically efficient. Net income per farmer amounted to Rp. 2,608,062.,63, per month amounted to Rp. 869,354. 21 when compared to the UMK of Rp. 2,829,558, the income of lettuce farming in the study area was relatively low
