Top quark signatures of Higgsless models
In these proceedings I describe the use of tree level unitarity to constrain
top quark signatures of Higgsless electroweak models and discuss implications
for collider phenomenology.Comment: 5 pages, 3 figures, aipproc style. To appear in the proceedings of

Effective Theory Approach to W-Pair Production near Threshold
In this talk, I review the effective theory approach to unstable particle
production and present results of a calculation of the process e- e+ ->mu-
nubar_mu u dbar X near the W-pair production threshold up to next-to-leading
order in GammaW/MW ~ alpha ~ v^2. The remaining theoretical uncertainty and the
impact on the measurement of the W mass is discussed.Comment: 7 pages (ilcws07.cls included), to appear in the proceedings of the

So Far, So Good
Since I\u27ve come back from Spring Break, I\u27ve started working on a Collection Development project. So far I\u27ve been looking at books that people have given as gifts to the college and deciding whether or not we should have them in the collection. At this point I seem to be stuck thinking that we should just keep all of the books I\u27ve looked at so far because they all seem at least moderately interesting or helpful. My pack rat tendencies are coming out; it\u27s something I need to work on. [excerpt
Musselman Library Reference Desk, This is Audrey, How May I Help You?
I never thought I would feel this comfortable at the desk. At the end of last week a lot of librarians weren\u27t in the building so I picked up one of their shifts. In January I never would have thought I could just volunteer for that. The idea of being at the desk alone was pretty scary, so the thought of being at the desk when there were very few librarians even in the building would have been flat out terrifying. But it was fine! There weren\u27t too many questions because it was the lunch shift on Friday so for the most part students were either having lunch or had already checked out for the weekend, but I was still kept moderately busy answering people\u27s questions. Other Projects: Librarians Don\u27t Just Read Books All Day
Since I now have four hours a week to sit behind the Ref. Desk, but no more training material to work on, I have been given a couple projects to work on. [excerpt
First Day Without a Desk Buddy: A Detailed Summary
Today is my first day behind the Ref. Desk without a Desk Buddy. I\u27m glad it\u27s a morning shift because those are usually much quieter and less eventful than afternoon shifts. All of the librarians have reassured me that if I need help answering a question I can just call any of them, but so far I\u27ve been fine. I\u27ve been keeping a list of everything that occurs at the Desk this morning so that I can properly document my first day out here by myself. So far it hasn\u27t been terribly interesting, but right now I\u27m ok with that. [excerpt
